Is there any flexibility around the Karangahake Gorge cycling day, either to swap it for a walking alternative or to opt out?

Would it be possible for me to join the group activities on Day 1 but not stay at the hotel? If so, is there any adjustment to the price?

You can join the activities on day 1 but if you decide to stay at your own accommodation there is no reimbursement for services not used. You would be required to sign off from the tour when you leave to go your own accommodation and would be responsible for making own arrangements to get to that accommodation and back to the group the next day (day 2).

Is there availability for a single / Solo woman?

This trip does not have single supplement rooms available due to the type of accommodation used. It is on a twin-share basis where you will be paired with another female on tour.

The age range varies from people born in the 1950's to the 1990's on this departure. Almost the whole group is solo travellers from 6 different countries worldwide. There is only 1 space left available on this departure, and it does not run in October.

Most nationalities require a visa or eTA to enter New Zealand. Visas and entry requirements of the responsibility of the traveller. G Adventures does not assist with securing visas.

Is it possible to cancel free of charge? are there any extra fees? I am traveling alone and would like to have my own room, is that possible or do you share? How physically fit would you say one needs to be? When the tour end, is it drop off at the hotel in auckland? or is that extra?
