You can join the activities on day 1 but if you decide to stay at your own accommodation there is no reimbursement for services not used. You would be required to sign off from the tour when you leave to go your own accommodation and would be responsible for making own arrangements to get to that accommodation and back to the group the next day (day 2).

This trip does not have single supplement rooms available due to the type of accommodation used. It is on a twin-share basis where you will be paired with another female on tour.

Most nationalities require a visa or eTA to enter New Zealand. Visas and entry requirements of the responsibility of the traveller. G Adventures does not assist with securing visas.

Is it possible to cancel free of charge? are there any extra fees? I am traveling alone and would like to have my own room, is that possible or do you share? How physically fit would you say one needs to be? When the tour end, is it drop off at the hotel in auckland? or is that extra?

Cancellation terms: Up to 30th day prior to departure: 20% of travel fare. From 29th day to 3rd day prior to departure: 70% of travel fare. From 2nd day prior to departure up to departure day or in case of no show: 95% of travel fare. Single supplement option not available. Accommodations are hotels and lodges with gender-based rooming.
