  We chose the 8 day Lemosho route and the trip was well planned and organised by KWESA. All of the staff from the porters to the waiters, chefs and guides were very helpful. I unfortunately became ill at base camp and had to return back down the mountain and the porters provided invaluable support in helping me down. Guide Kessy also accompanied me back down the mountain, keeping me in great spirits and making sure I reached the bottom safely. Kessy’s great personality and excellent English made him a great guide and companion to have on the mountain. My thanks to him and the team for an amazing adventure.Show more

  Our daughter 18, is on this route about to attempt the summit tonight. The support has been incredible -she went with a small new group and was the only climber unexpectedly and was cold and not feeling confident. On contacting Edward at KWESA he immediately made plans to link her with another team and the support has been beyond amazing!! Messages with updates, linking her with another team, sending medical report and photos -absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this company -we could not have asked for more!!Show more

  I booked a 6 day climb of Kilimanjaro by the machame route and had an incredible time. It was my first time solo travelling and the whole team made me feel incredibly welcome. Tuliza was an absolutely incredible guide, helping me reach my goals - arrive at the top of the mountain first!! - and kept me smiling the whole trip. Masanja was the chef and every day the food was amazing - pancakes, pizza the lot. Also special thanks to Omary Juma the waiter who was incredibly funny and friendly.   UNEXPLAINABLE SAFARI WITH KWESA If I could give Amos at Migration Venture Africa ten stars, I would. I don't know if I will ever be able to fully express how grateful I am to Amos and his team and just how much we appreciate everything they've done for us. Amos has become more than a tour agent- I think he'll be a lifelong friend! My husband and I had been planning our Tanzania safari for our honeymoon and we were originally supposed to travel November 2021. Due to COVID, we had to postpone our trip and pushed it back to 2022. Throughout the entire planning process, Amos was not only extremely responsive and helpful, but he was truly on our side and had our best interests at heart. He took the time to answer all of my questions (even all of the long and rambling and repetitive ones that I would think of in the middle of the night and shoot him an email) and reassured me that our trip would still be just as great regardless of having to reschedule. He scoured every possible option in terms of what was available within our price points, what made the most sense logistically, what would give us the best experience, and made the entire planning process smooth, easy and feel like it was a collaboration between our vision and his planning. I pride myself on my traveling and itinerary making skills, but Amos truly goes above and beyond and his attention to detail and thoroughness is on a completely different level. Especially with all of the new and ever-changing restrictions due to Covid, he laid out everything so nicely for us so that our travel was seamless. In addition, all of the accommodations, tours, and excursions Amos planned were also absolutely stunning. This was a trip of a lifetime that my husband and I will NEVER forget. We truly could not have imagined a more gorgeous first trip to Africa and we will absolutely be back and be using Migration Venture Africa for all of our African travel needs in the future. I know I'm forgetting so much and will never be able to thank Amos enough for everything he's done for us, but I hope this review helps encourage more travelers to use Kwesa Tours.Show more

  I have just returned from Tanzania where I successfully summitted Kilimanjaro and then went on a 3 day safari....
  I have just returned from Tanzania where I successfully summitted Kilimanjaro and then went on a 3 day safari. Teacher Lazaro the owner of KWESA is a good man, he kept organized the whole trip for me. He organized for me to join a group of 4 other climbers from Chile and Finland. He gave us experienced guides, wonderful porters and an amazing cook all under the leadership of William the chief guide. They were friendly and knowledgeable about Kilimanjaro. The climb was nice with good food and comfortable sleeping tents. We had regular health checks to ensure we were safe. If you are doing Kilimanjaro it is important to hire a private toilet because some of the public ones are not clean! After my successful climb I went on a 3 day safari tour with driver Ernest to Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara and it was just amazing. The parks are endowed with different species of wild animals roaming freely in their natural habitats. I enjoyed my trip to Tanzania and recommend KWESA as a fantastic operator for Kilimanjaro trekking and Safari.Show more
