I am a fit 85 year old. Can I book this tour and just miss some of the more energetic activities?

Yes, you can! We welcome all ages, and our tours usually have guests in their 20s to 40s, but we're happy to have passengers of any age on board. For passengers over 75, we ask for a medical certificate from your doctor confirming your ability to take part in the tour. Just so you're aware, the tour does cover very long distances, which involves extended periods of sitting on the bus.

Would like to book private rooms for my husband and I on this tour but don't seem to be able to do it on the site? Also since yesterday when I requested a brochure there has been a change in the price, why is that?

As your travel dates fall within the Easter period, many accommodations are already pre-booked. Unfortunately, we have very limited availability, and all of our private rooms are fully booked over the Easter break, including 10 April. Please also note that pricing may differ, as the new tourism year begins in early April, which results in a price increase.

Do you require a passport if you are an Australian citizen?

Regarding identification, any valid form of ID is acceptable; it does not need to be an Australian passport. Your booking confirmation from us will also suffice.

The tour is restricted to people up to the age of 70. I am 75 years of age fit and healthy is there any exception?

We accept all ages on this tour we just request medical certificates for those over the age of 75 to verify they are fit to partake in the tour. We would also advise to book our priavte rooms. A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks. The length of walks will be between 2km to 3km each day, often over steep rocky sections and in direct sunlight and high humidity. An approximate 8km walk is included in this tour. Embarking on walks will be at the guide's discretion to ensure the safety of guests. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor's certificate is required for people over 70 years (30-days prior to travel).

does the room come with a balcony?

Unfortunately not! We offer private double, twin and single rooms which are comfortable and include most amenities but I am afraid it is unlikely the room will have a balcony.

Can you advise cost for solo traveller to not share a cabin ?....is it simply doubling the price?

For a solo passenger, the only options will be either a shared dormitory ($1,995.00 per person) or a private Single room ($3,505.00 per person). If you are a minimum of 2 persons, you can book the Double/Twin fare type ($2,695.00 per person). There is a 10% promotional discount which will end by 31st January 2026. If you want to make a booking, we highly recommend to book it before the 10% promotional discount ends. Please note that the private rooms can sell out, so we recommend booking as soon as possible.

Can I book this tour if I am 17 1/2 years old? I will take the private room option and my parents are able to provide a written and court-certified consent, if required.

I met wonderful people during the trip and made a lot of new friends. All the accommodations we stayed in were clean and comfortable. I noticed a few comments from others complaining about the wraps provided for lunch, but I personally enjoyed them. The ingredients were freshly cut, with plenty of filling options available. Autopia took us to all the greatest sites, and even some extra ones not in the itinerary to enhance our experience. There is a lot of driving as the tour stretches from Perth to exmouth and then back again, but the scenery is so different from anything you will have seen before, and the tour guide gave us lots of stops to stretch and grab snacks. Can I book this tour if I am 17 1/2 years old? I will take the private room option and my parents are able to provide a written and court-certified consent, if required.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Autopia Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Autopia Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Autopia Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
