We have availability on our July 26, 2025 departure.

I'd like to find out about the comfort of the tour bus and the accommodations. How would you rate the as far as one to five star?

Each Globus motorcoach features plush, reclining seats with headrests, individual air-conditioning vents, and extra legroom. A high-fidelity sound system delivers interesting and informative Tour Director commentary directly to your seat. Our custom of daily seat rotation gives everyone the opportunity to take in the views from a variety of vantage points throughout the trip!

Where am I staying hotel? Do you eat at a restaurant or are they prepared on the tour? Do I need to rent a car?

The hotels we typically use are Calgary - Delta Calgary Downtown, Waterton Lakes Park - Bayshore Inn, Whitefish - Grouse Mountain Lodge, Banff - Royal Canadian Lodge Banff, Jasper - Forest Park Hotel. Breakfast is included every morning. The tour also includes lunch on day 3 and dinner on days 2, 7, and 8. The other meals are not prepared for the guests and would need to be purchased at a restaurant, grocery store, etc. There is no need to rent a car, as we transfer the group from place to place via motorcoach.

Would like to inquire about hotel taxes and know if you have a senior discount / AAP or AARP?

Canada's harmonized sales tax (HST) is a consumption tax paid by local consumers and businesses. As the name implies, it 'harmonizes' (combines) the nation's federal goods and services tax and various provincial sales taxes. Five Canadian provinces use the HST; other areas of Canada use a similar goods and services tax (GST).

I am interested to know more detail about each leg and what the mode of transportation is, coach > train > etc. Is the Glacier Park Red Jammer's covered? Am I able to see reviews for this particular tour not just of all Globus tours?

This tour is operated by motor coach. The Red Jammer sightseeing is included. I'm not sure where you can find reviews of this specific tour, as I'm not finding any on our website or on Tour Radar's.

Is a hotel booked by the tour for night one and what night is the accommodation a hostel? Also, a train is mentioned as transportation but the itinerary never mentions boarding a train. Is there a portion of the tour undertaken by train?

No part of this tour is done by train. The night of day 1 does include a hotel. There are no hostel accommodations on the tour. Globus uses higher end hotels where available. The hotels listed as examples for this tour on our website are First Class or higher.

The team of Gerard Menard (Driver) and Neela Falconer (tour director) is genius. Both gave such great leadership by their respect for each other and for all of the Globus guests. Each of us were blessed for their innate kindness and consideration and it spread among us as day by day we enjoyed the ride and the camaraderie. In addition I caught lots of unmentioned small but mighty efforts to make the cooks or the accomodation's bag jockeys....be quietly thanked for their hard work on your customers behalf. Two more stellar people I have never encountered in 40+years of travel in or out of the United States. Stick with these two winners and listen to their suggestions.
