We kept our expectations not quite so high after Marco at journey machu picchu recommended The Salkantay trek but after arriving in Cusco we were ecstatic and could not wait to start the hike. The Salkantay was what was offered and much more, i could not believe how beautiful the landscape is and how amazing our guides and porters were. This trip was just an amazing experience that ended with Visiting Machu Picchu to then being taken back to Cusco via train. Truly a trip to recommend to anyone looking for an adventure.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 29th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 29th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Journey Machu Picchu Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Journey Machu Picchu Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
