Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Besisahar
You'll leave Kathmandu early and head out on a scenic drive toward Besisahar, which serves as the main town in Lamjung district. The road winds through the hills, and you'll pass alongside big rivers, local shops, and bustling bazaars. Small hydropower dams dot the landscape along the way. By evening, you arrive in Besisahar for the night.

Landmarks Besisahar - Day 2
Besisahar to Dharapani
From here, you'll take a public jeep continuing to Dharapani. The route takes you past waterfalls and through nice mountain landscapes. It's a full day of travel, and you'll stay overnight at a teahouse in Dharapani.

- Day 3
Dharapani to Chame
Your first real trekking day starts from Dharapani, heading to the village of Chame. The trail has a gradual climb and you'll walk through traditional Tibetan architecture and customs. The views of Annapurna II are there if the weather cooperates, and you can visit the two hot springs near the village. You'll sleep at a teahouse in Chame.

Landmarks Chame Annapurna II - Day 4
Chame to Upper Pisang
This day gets tough as you trek along a steep, narrow path carved directly into a vertical rock face. The cliff rises 1500 meters above the river below. After working your way through this challenging section, the valley opens up with great views before you reach Upper Pisang. Stay at a teahouse here.

Pisang to Ngawal
You'll trek from Pisang on the high trail passing through pine groves and a small turquoise lake called Mring Tso. The path goes up to Ghyaru, then cuts through barley and buckwheat fields before arriving at Ngawal, a beautiful village in the Annapurna region. This is a good spot for acclimatization, and you can hike up to a centuries-old cave associated with Guru Rinpoche. Overnight at a teahouse.

- Day 6
Ngawal to Manang
Just a short walk of a few hours takes you from Ngawal to Manang, passing through forests and past monasteries. Manang functions as a central hub for the circuit trek and sits near Gangapurna Lake. You can check out the monasteries around town or catch a film at the local cinema if you want something different. Sleep at a teahouse in Manang.

- Day 7
Manang to Yak Kharka
You'll trek from Manang toward Yak Kharka, climbing about 500 meters gradually. The route passes through Tenki Manang and leaves the Marsyangdi Valley, then follows the Jarsang Khola Valley. Yak Kharka sits at 4,000 meters where you'll start seeing yak herds more often and trees get thinner. Stay at a teahouse here.

- Day 8
Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi
The trek heads uphill to Thorang Phedi, and you'll cross a suspension bridge and walk through the village of Ledar along the way. The trail climbs through towering cliffs before reaching Thorang Phedi, the last village before the pass. You'll have views of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan. Overnight at a teahouse.

- Day 9
Thorang Phedi to Muktinath (via Thorong La Pass)
This is the hardest day of the entire trek. You'll start very early to cross Thorong La Pass, the highest point on the circuit. Weather can turn bad later in the day, so an early departure is critical. The terrain is demanding and requires real effort and determination. By evening, you reach Muktinath, a major Hindu shrine. Sleep at a teahouse here.

- Day 10
Muktinath to Jomsom
After visiting the shrine and having breakfast, you'll trek down to Jomsom over about 5 to 6 hours. The route takes you past ancient caves and you'll see snow-capped mountain views along the way. You'll stay at a teahouse in Jomsom for the night.

Jomsom to Pokhara
After breakfast, you'll board a bus heading to Pokhara. The drive goes through nice mountain landscapes and you'll arrive in Pokhara by evening. Check into a hotel there for the night.

- Day 12
Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning brings you to the Tourist Bus Center where you'll board an air-conditioned deluxe coach back to Kathmandu. The drive takes roughly 7 to 8 hours to complete the journey home.
