  Buyer beware: Your money would be better spent piecing this trip together yourself. The dedicated driver Guilfam was honestly the best part of this tour. The rest was a disappointment - certainly not worth the $500+ I paid. What are you actually paying for besides the dedicated cab? Two nights at sub-par hotels and half-day guides. That’s it. No entrance fees, lunches, or dinners are included, and these costs easily surpassed $250, especially considering that you’re dropped off at pre-selected tourist traps. What’s more, the company uses Agoda to book their hotel rooms, and those rooms ran for $25 a night (I priced them out both nights). So of the $500 I paid to Golden Triangle Tours of India, only $50 went toward these “4-Star” accommodations. While the Golden Tulip in Agra was OK, the Fern Habitat in Jaipur was dismal - it was in disrepair and overrun with loud middle-school groups. There was no hot water, and the rooftop pool was a true pigeon sanctuary. Other than what’s listed on the website, the company provides no detailed itinerary. I asked the operator for one after the first day, and I’m still waiting. Just know the itinerary involves additional stops to a carpet shop, a tile shop (run by a descendent of the builder of the Taj Mahal, no less!), a clothing store where you’ll be asked to rent $15 garments for the Taj Mahal, a professional photographer, a leather shop, several souvenir stores, and a spice shop. You’ll even be offered elephant and camel rides, a visit to a snake charmer, and even a palm reader - all for additional fees, of course. I should have done my research before, and I hope this review serves as a warning to future buyers.Show more

  We highly recommend Golden Triangle Tours Of India . Even weeks before the tour began, James Jordan from Golden Triangle Tours Of India was very responsive to all our questions. His communications was consistently prompt and addressed all our concerns thoroughly. We appreciate his flexibility in our accommodating our requests. The tour was very well organized, the itinerary was well-paced and covered the key highlights in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The tour guides are on-time and were knowledgeable about the place and the local culture. Understanding the history behind the monuments, forts and palaces, helped us appreciate their beauty and their historical significance. We want to give a special shoutout to our driver, Jeetu. For the entire trip, he was always on time, drove very safely while expertly navigating difficult traffic conditions. Thank you, Jeetu. The vehicle was clean and well maintained with a working air conditioner, a must-have given the high temperatures. We are very happy with our decision to tour with Golden Triangle Tours Of India.
