I wanted to do something special for my fiftieth birthday and my mum's last big holiday, as she's eighty next year. This trip ticked all the boxes and was mum's "best holiday ever". We were met straight from the airport by a tour rep who helped us through immigration and helped me sort out a sim card and get money. First two days were trips to the Great Pyramids at Giza, Saqqora, Memphis and Cairo. Guide and driver were excellent, even with the packed Cairo traffic We then transferred to Luxor by plane for the seven night cruise on a Dahabieh to Aswan. Boat and crew were both brilliant, with superb service and food. Starting from Luxor, at each stop off, we did tours with an excellent local guide After Aswan transferred back to Cairo for the final day looking at different sites covering old Cairo, Islamic Cairo and Coptic Cairo. If you're looking for an in depth cultural and historical trip to Egypt, then this ticks all the boxes. Guides were all excellent with my 78 year old mum and transfers and trips COVID safe Just need to get the extra kilos off now after all the luxury food (any chocolate covered dates)Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 90% is required to confirm your booking with Your Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 160 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Your Egypt Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
