Yes, we can extend your trip to Puno, Titicaca Lake or the Amazon in Puerto Maldonado. In order to give an offer and confirm you can depart the 5-day Journey of Colors to Machu Picchu, we would like to know when are you planning to travel? We need to check the Machu Picchu activity before confirming your departure.

Do we pay $230 for additional services in the destination? Is this separate from the $719 USD total tour price? Also, is Machu Picchu entrance not included as an extra tour? What about the guide - the brochure mentions English speaking, but our tour shows Spanish language. How will the group or guide language work?

The tour cost is $719.00 per person with a minimum of two travelers. The $230.00 is the single supplement fee for solo travelers to have private rooms. We include Machu Picchu entrance in all our packages. Our guides are native Spanish speakers but also speak English. If there are English-speaking travelers in the group, the guide will explain in both languages. Important note: Machu Picchu entries are sold out until after the second week of June (Circuit 3).

Are Machu Picchu tickets guaranteed on this tour? I can see the dates on sale that work for us, but everything I have read says that if tickets are not available on the official website, there's no other way to get them (other than queueing the day beforehand in Aguas Calientes).

All of our tours we offer include Machu Picchu tickets as long as there are availability. So, before comfirming, we always look up the availability. However, unfortunately all the tickets are sold out after the first week of April and we can not confirm any tour. The circuit in Machu Picchu avilable in the first week of April is Circuit 3 and that is our best option we can offer to you.

Would like to know if it is possible to change the accommodation to JW MARRIOTT EL CONVENTO CUSCO and Aguascalientes Marriott Hotel. How much would it cost?

Sadly, the Marriot hotel does not work in Aguas Calientes, but there is a Marriot hotel in Cusco. We usually work with Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Cusco, and Machu Picchu Inkaterra Pueblo in Aguas Calientes.

A disorganised rip-off. We thought we were getting the same tour guide with us for the 5 days. All this 'tour' is someone co-ordinating different tours with different guides and different groups of people. We were not met at the airport by their representative to explain the tour, nobody was there. Eventually a non-English speaking taxi pulled up & literally dumped us at the hotel & drove off. We were charged a fortune for the upgraded hotels only to find out they were charging more than the entire price for just the upgrade portion. Everything is done to cut costs. The upgraded hotel at Cusco was our biggest disappointment as we paid US$370 for the upgrade let alone the money already paid. They put us in a lower grade hotel so our expectations for the price were not met. It caused a lot of anxiety, anger, harrassment which is frankly why you pay to do a tour and not organise it yourself. We never knew when we were being picked up for the tours. We had to keep asking the guide of the moment to call the Agency to find out when we would be picked up. We repeatedly asked for an itinerary but they would only supply that which is on the internet. That says you are going to Rainbow Mountain for the day, it doesn't say you will be picked up at 4.45am, driven to a restaurant for a sub-grade breakfast (when your hotel already provides breakfast), taken to Rainbow Mountain, back to the same restaurant for lunch (really!! lots of kick backs here obviously) and then returned to your hotel by 2pm! Why? Pick your poor guests up at 8am at a civilised hour. The crowds are already at the mountain when you arrive after the hour stop for breakfast anyway so no gain for the paying passengers for the early start. In all this tour cost more than most of the other tours out there and we got way less than we expected. Stay away is our advice.Show more

  I think it's too complicated to do Cusco with Puno in only 5 days and more complicated if you want to do the tour to the Amazon after that because there is not any direct flight from Juliaca to the Amazon, for this you will need to take a flight to Lima and after that another flight to the Amazon but you won't arrive on time to continue with the group to the lodge in the Amazon because you must to arrive there before 01:00 p.m. and continue with the rest of the group to the Amazon. I think your proposal won't work according to your requirements and most probably you will need at least 6 days Cusco and Puno and could make a change in the itinerary and find the way to do both tour packages according to your requirements.

  I am a solo traveler. I can be flexible with my schedule. My goal is to stay one or two days in the Sacred Valley (to acclimate to the altitude), one or two days in Cusco, and then spend one night in Aquas Calientes before Machu Picchu. I am open to other activities. Not sure if I want to go to Rainbow Mountain; too many hours driving to get there and back in the same day.   Sadly, the Marriot hotel does not work in Aguas Calientes, but there is a Marriot hotel in Cusco. We usually work with Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Cusco, and Machu Picchu Inkaterra Pueblo in Aguas Calientes.

  The extra cost for the upgrade to 5 stars hotel is USD $778.00 per person. Keep in mind the room is based on double occupancy. This extra cost would be paid in cash USD once you arrive in Cusco.

  Is it possible to book a tour for 2 people with 2 single rooms, 5 star hotels in Cusco and Aguas Calientes, and add one more night at the beginning in Cusco?

  The extra cost for the upgrade to 5 stars hotel in Cusco and Aguas Calientes + an extra night in Cusco, and each one with an individual room (Single rooms) is US$ 888.00 per person. This extra is just for the upgrade to 5 starts hotel plus an extra night in Cusco and single rooms. The payment of the extra cost will be done in CASH upon your arrival to Cusco.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Inkayni Peru Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Inkayni Peru Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Inkayni Peru Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
