      The TTG9A is a scheduled tour a Acacia and is not new. Our tours are conducted in overland vehicles equipped with camping gear (which includes tents for the clients choosing the camping option) and kitchen equipment. The camping and accommodated clients travel in the same vehicles visiting the same destinations.

      Accommodation on tour is twin share with another client of the same sex. If we have no other 'same sex solo travellers' in the group then client will have single accommodation at no additional cost. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that at time of booking.

      Accommodation is in simply and rustic accommodation - it is not a 4-5 star lodge tour. Transport is by 24 seat safari truck, (we carry 16 people at a maximum). The trek to the gorillas is conducted with Uganda Wildlife Authority guides.

      The 9-day Gorillas & Nile River Encounter Adventure Accommodated Tour makes use of twin share accommodation. Rooms are basic with en-suite facilities, but from time to time some rooms may be shared facilities. The price is per person sharing - which means you will share the room with another Acacia client of the same gender.

      Unfortunately we do not offer Single Supplements on any Adventure-style tours. You would be sharing a twin bed room/chalet with a fellow solo traveller of the same sex.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before July 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Acacia Adventure Holidays will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
