Last year I went with Stoke Travel to Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. I didn’t expected it in the first place but my friends wanted me to come over. However, it was such a nice experience with so many nice people. I shared the tent with one of my best friends and it was actually very comfy. All the meals were included during my trip. However, I didn’t made it to the dinner the second night because I had too much fun during the party... The daily parties from Stoke, the public and not to forget the crew was AWESOME! After those days I was really tired of all the free booze I got, but all of this was totally worth it. See you this year at Running of the Bulls 2018!

Did the running of the bulls with Stoke, Got the bus from Barcelona and were given our 1 litre of Sangria as promised. The tour guide then asked how many of us wanted to stay out all night and how many of us wanted to go to sleep and run in the morning, Half the bus said we wanted to get a couple hours sleep, So the guide rang up the camp-site and then informed us that we were not getting any accommodation and had to stay out all night as it was full. An American guy spent the whole bus ride trying to sell us a circus tour and getting everyone excited to party saying we didn't need sleep and then himself went to sleep at the site as he was jetlagged. We did the running of the bulls and got picked up the next day to go back to Barcelona. There were no toilets on the bus and after having another litre of sangria I needed to go for a piss. I asked her 4 times if we could stop the bus as it was 3 hours between stops and she said "no, just piss in a bottle" she was extremely rude. Then out of desperation I had to piss in a bottle in the aisle of a bus full of people. The tour was extremely unorganised and they lied to us about accommodation being included. The only good thing was the other people on the tour. Rip off tour and a bit of a human rights violation thrown in as well.

Hey Joel, it's always good to get a bit of feedback as Stoke Travel is all about constant improvement. It sounds like you booked the 24hr Bulls Bus from Barcelona, and accommodation is not included in that package, nor advertised anywhere as such (nor is it sold on TourRadar). It's a get in, have a doozy of a time at the Bull run and the Stoke Bar and then get back to Barcelona.

Huge disappointment! Staff were less than helpful we weren't given a run down on how things were operated (poorly), nothing was shown to us everyone was walking around guessing. When we tried to locate staff they were almost impossible to track down because they were more interested in partying. The promised unlimited beer and sangria was a 40min bus ride into Pamplona which was a fee of 6€ and the bus times were never explained to anyone. Each campsite area had a lockup tent to store luggage in as the tents were too small to and each-time we approached these tents they were unguarded and luggage was in a massive heap as if it had been thrown around one time I went to the luggage tent to retrieve my bag and ask the girl who I presume worked there if I can get my bag and pointed to it she got my bag out of the tent and gave it to me, I then said do you want to see my tent number so you know it's my bag and she replied "nah I don't even work here". Everybody's mattresses were deflated and no one was provided with a pillow. We ended up leaving a few days earlier than we had booked for - having to catch a taxi to Pamplona as the buses weren't running that morning. Will never book through stoke again.

Had an amazing time at the San Fermin festival with stoke! We were fed so well, the food was always incredible. Unlimited drinks at the bar was a real cost saver! The actual festival was one of the best things I've ever done, the parties and fireworks at night were so much fun. I'll be back next year for sure

Staying with stoke is an experience you can hardly explain to someone. If you're in the party, you're part of an un-real extravagant, extrovert, care-free and party hard culture. If you're not in it, you're part of the crew with serious FOMO, wishing you could skip tomorrow's festivities just to enjoy one more night of partying. They are the festival outside the festival you want to get to! Back at home, i'm not much of a drinker, but with Stoke at Pamplona's Running of the Bulls 2017, i couldn't help but being involved. All staff at stoke all appear to be that one person in every group who at 5am say "hey, one more shot, one more song, one more hour, one more club" as they dance on the top of the bar with their shirt off. Except, they've decided to import 50 of them from around the world, and say "hey, can you please entertain these guests?" And the more you think about this, the more you begin to understand what you're in for. If you're booked with Stoke, you need to be open-minded and understanding of the fact you aren't paying for a 5 star hostel experience managed by the world's highest trained. You're staying in a back-packer's camping ground, where the staff are volunteers and party as hard as they work, to ensure they are keeping up the vibes. They've done it before, and they know what to include and dis-clude, what to recommend and what to avoid to ensure you are able to experience the festival and culture as much as the campsite itself. Sure sometimes there is a line for food or tickets, and sometimes things aren't 100% on time, but for anyone who's been to a festival it's a given. What sometimes they may lack for in complete perfection, they absolutely make up for in booze, good times, and effort to make you feel included in the festival culture. My stay wasn't perfect, but I don't think i have had a holiday that ever was. For a 21 year old solo traveler, I had one fucking-hell of a party, and honestly cannot wait to hit up La-Tomatina and Oktoberfest with Stoke Travel this year.

The men and women working the event at Pamplona overcame extreme adversity on several occasions, and prevailed in showing me that they are unapologetically the best at what they do for who they do it for. The bus drivers nearly always deviated from their expected schedule, making it nearly impossible for the customers to predict when to be at the bus terminal at night; and it didn't help that some customers tried to use tickets purchased for a time slot long past, messing it up for the more honest and responsible parties doing the right thing. The campground came with a pre-negotiated contract so they wouldn't lose out on funds from bar patrons for the first few days of the festival, but once the unlimited beer and sangria started back up on the grounds, Stoke delivered with their party promises. There were oftentimes long lines at registration and the food tent, but customers were always met with a smile, being provided whatever commodity the Stokies could muster up, as well as absolutely delicious meals. In the few instances I heard of tents flooding, I equally remember hearing about how the tents zipper had been broken or unzipped. Stoke's service is not exactly as advertised, it is the premiere travel service for party people everywhere.

My time staying at Stoke Travels 'Running of the Bulls' Pamplona campsite was an absolute mental experience. Such a beautiful place to stay and super close to all the Fiestas going on in the city! The amazing food, friendly staff, combined with free flowing beer and sangria, provided the components for a crazy few days of Fiestas! After my time at 'The Running of the Bulls' I moved on to Stoke Travels Zarautz beach camp. Again, wow, what an amazing few days in the Basque Country. Beer, Babes and Barrels ! Picturesque views and amazing beaches, can't recommend a place more than Zarautz and San Sebastian !

I was able to sort through the various trips until I found a couple I wanted to take. After I booked I misjudged the travel time between when one tour ended and when I had to get to the next one (I didn't realize there were no evening flights where I was). TourRadar was great in connecting me with the tour operator and they were in turn great with helping me change the itinerary so I could do both trips without any extra hassle.
