7 Days in Spain, incl. Madrid and Barcelona
This Spanish circuit visits 9 cities for around $1,100. Highlights include UNESCO-listed Caceres, Seville's Santa Cruz quarter, Cordoba's Mosque/Cathedral, and Granada's Alhambra palace. Five dinners and daily breakfast included.

- Day 1
Madrid to Seville
Get an early start from Madrid's city center. The bus terminal opens at 7:30 AM for the 8 AM departure. Your first stop is medieval Cáceres about 3.5 hours from Madrid. Plan to reach Plaza Mayor before noon to avoid crowds and heat. Stop for lunch in the old town and try the local Torta del Casar cheese. The afternoon drive to Seville takes another 3 hours. For dinner head to the Alameda district where local tapas bars fill up after 8 PM.

- Day 2
Seville
Visit María Luisa Park around 9 AM when the gardens are quiet and cool. You'll get the best photos of Plaza de España's tile work in morning light. Spend your afternoon in the Santa Cruz quarter where narrow streets provide good shade. A previous visitor shares: "The streets of Santa Cruz are like a maze - download an offline map since GPS gets spotty between the tall buildings."

- Day 3
Córdoba
Córdoba is just 1.5 hours from Seville. Get there early to see the Mezquita before peak crowds. Walk through the Puerta del Perdón for an impressive first look. Late afternoon is perfect for exploring the Jewish Quarter after most tourists leave. Book a hotel near the Mezquita to enjoy the old town at night when monuments light up.

- Day 4
Ronda & Costa del Sol
Take the morning drive through White Villages to reach Ronda. Get your photos of the famous bridge before noon. It's about 2 hours to Costa del Sol (Torremolinos) where you can spend the afternoon at the beach. A helpful tip from a traveler: "The Sol Principe hotel has the best location - right on the beach promenade for evening walks."

- Day 5
Granada
Leave early for the 2.5-hour drive to Granada. Book your Alhambra visit well in advance and try to get the earliest time slot to avoid crowds. One reviewer notes: "The Alhambra tour was challenging with all the hills - wear good walking shoes and bring water." End your day in Albaicín quarter watching sunset over the Alhambra.

- Day 6
Valencia
- Day 7
Barcelona
Take the morning to explore Valencia's beach or old town. Leave at midday for the 3.5-hour drive to Barcelona. Important note: The tour ends at a transit point so arrange your hotel transfer ahead of time. One traveler suggests: "Confirm your exact drop-off point with the guide the day before arrival in Barcelona."

What people love about 7-day Spain tours
- Spanish Delights, 7 days from Madrid
The tour from Madrid to Granada was excellent . The tour guide Ofelia was so good, talking a lot, explaining everything what we see And not see for the surrounding area. She was very humble, polite and carrying personal. I wish she was with us to Barcelona. The tour guide who took over from there to Barcelona hardly opened her mouth to say something about the places where we travel through. When you ask her, she was not happy to say something, “just you will find out with the local tour guide” The buss four seats on the first row were empty and she didn’t let anyone to seat there, said they have been taken, but nobody seat there at all time. I don’t know how she got this job.
