Is it possible to have a Spanish language operator for this tour?

    Flights / Transfers
    • GJ TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, flying into Reykjavik (KEF) is perfect. All rooms on this itinerary are private and include a private bathroom, so you'll have full comfort throughout your stay.

  • A

    Asked on February 15th, 2026

Can I fly directly into Reykjavik as I will be flying from Australia?

    Flights / Transfers
    • GJ TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

The international airport is in Keflavík, that is 45-50 minutes away from Reykjavík. Regarding the flights I am not familiar with the direct flights but I assume you will have to lay over on the way.

  • C

    Asked on February 13th, 2026

I plan on proposing to my girlfriend on this tour, hopefully under the northern lights - and I was hoping that the tour could help out a little? By the way, has there been anyone that has done that before?

    • GJ TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

We would be so happy to be a part of this moment.
I would recommend if the Northern lights are an important factor that you join our ,,Northern Lights Exploration'' tour instead of this ,,Land of Northern Lights'', you can find it here on Tourradar.
The reason being that the success rate for that 8 day tour for seeing the Northern Lights is around 90%, while this 5 day tour only has around 60%. The longer you stay in Iceland the better your chances are.

We have had proposals before on our tours under the Northern Lights, especially on the Northern Lights Exploration tour. Each day you will arrive to the hotel around 5pm which gives you good time to have dinner and rest. The hotels are all located remote from light pollution to give us the best chance and also to avoid having to drive to find them. So the best thing about the tour is that if the lights are visible you can simply step outside the hotel and see them. The guide could definitely help you out with the proposal, for example take photos, photos show the Northern lights better then a video. I could let the guide know so that the only thing you would have to do when you meet him is to tell him which night you would like to propose, of course that would mainly depend on the Northern Lights forecast.

    • C

      Charles

      TravelerWritten February 2026

I've heard that due to weather conditions in Iceland, it can be difficult to get a view of the Northern Lights, which does make me nervous, but I'll just hope for the best.

I don't have the plan fully figured out yet, but my idea is that one night - maybe one where the guide believes is the highest chance of seeing the Northern Ligths showing - we could separate from the group for "some reason" to a location nearby (I would like for the moment to be relatively private) and then I can "drop the knee". I don't know what's possible and what's not, but if you can tell me to what extent you'll be able to help me out, it would be really, really appreciated.

    • GJ TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

During the evenings you wont be tied to the group as much as you are during the day. You will spend the evenings at the hotel so separating from the group is easy. You can take a private walk in the hotel garden or something similar.

As a Malaysian do we need visa to enter Iceland? How far is the airport from your designated hotel? Is it easy to find lunch on the trip?

    Visa
    • GJ TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

Malaysian citizens do not need a visa to visit Iceland for short stays (up to 90 days). The hotels are around a 40 minute bus ride from the international airport, and a voucher for the FlyBus is included in our tours. The tour is design with lunch stops in mind so everyone can take time for lunch.

This departure is guaranteed! Currently, there is availability for triple room for both the budget and comfort options. We don't have the room booked but once the travellers are ready to proceed with the booking, we can confirm it with the hotels.

Can you confirm rather or not the blue lagoon entrance fee, the skolgar museum, the geothermal greenhouse, the northern light tour are included in the 1262 please? Also how much is the Sólheimajökull glacier hike? Are the transfers from the airport included too?
