How long are we at Blue Lagoon? What do the Northern Light presentations consist of? Are they mandatory? It says you can book the black lava beach - how much extra is that? It says there is a Northern Lights evening cruise - how much extra is that, what time is the cruise and how long does it last?

The visit to the Blue Lagoon is 1.5-2 hours long. The Northern Lights presentations are not mandatory but helpful, you will learn how to take the best photos of them, watch an educating video and go explore them outside with your guide. The Black Lava beach is included. The Northern Lights Cruise is an optional add on that we recommend, the price is 12,490 ISK. You can book it on the website of ,,Special Tours'' and the tour is called ,,Northern Lights by Boat''. The tour takes around 2-3 hours and usually starts at 21:00 in the evening.

Looking at a trip for the northen lights in January. Would you be be able to share what hotels we will stay at and also what the normal age of the groups is ?

There are 2 hotel options for this tour! Budget : Hotel Cabin and a standard room at Hotel Stracta Comfort : Hotel Klettur and a Studio room at Hotel Stracta The average age of travelers in our tours i 50 years old.

what accommodation is included?

The accommodation included is 4 night at hotels, two nights in Reykjavík and two nights in the country side. We have two hotel options for this tour, budget and comfort. The difference is that the budget is 2 star hotels and comfort is 3 star.

I just have a question regarding the Last day. It says that the return from Reykjavik is on September 26th, but I would like to know the time to be able to book my client's next flight.

The return to Reykjavík is actually on the 25th, they will stay the last night in Reykjavík and the 26th is departure day. There are no scheduled activities on the 26th so they can book a flight at any time during that day.

What actions should I take if my flight gets canceled, causing me to miss day 1 of the tour? Can I join the tour in Iceland the next day after the group has departed, and how would this be arranged?

This does happen from time to time, and in such cases we always work to find the best possible solution—most often by arranging a transfer so the traveler can join the group. We also recommend purchasing travel insurance when visiting Iceland, as it can help minimize the impact of situations like these.

I would like a taylored trip more days at least 15 including Finland

We can assist with services in Iceland but we unfortunately don't offer services in Finland. What sort of program did you have in mind?

I am looking for a tour but I arrive only on the Apri 17th morning

We have one departure for this tour in April, from 07.04 to 11.04. As there is a short time until the departure, we have released all our unsold rooms, so I'll have to contact the hotels to make sure they have availability for you. We also have a summer version of this tour at the end of April, from 28.04 to 02.05, we have spots available on this departure. This tour does not have a focus on Northern Lights.

Is it possible to have a Spanish language operator for this tour?

Unfortunately we don't have any Spanish speaking departures at the moment, however we hope to be able to do so in the future!

Are all rooms private with private bath? Is flying into Reykjavik ok?

Yes, flying into Reykjavik (KEF) is perfect. All rooms on this itinerary are private and include a private bathroom, so you'll have full comfort throughout your stay.

Can I fly directly into Reykjavik as I will be flying from Australia?

The international airport is in Keflavík, that is 45-50 minutes away from Reykjavík. Regarding the flights I am not familiar with the direct flights but I assume you will have to lay over on the way.

I loved this trip, and will recommend both this tour and TourRadar to my friends and family. The tour events and itinerary were perfect, except I would have wanted more time at the Blue Lagoon. Loved the hotel in Hella. The Kletter was just ok. The employees at the Kletter were great to us. But I found that the Kletter Hotel needs double front doors, which are automatic when you are carrying luggage, because it was so hard logistically to get through the Hotel front door, especially when a tour group or multiple tour groups were in that area (this occurred often). I also think the Kletter needs a much bigger area in the space between the hotel’s lobby and the hotel’s front door. The Kletter Hotel was super crowded with multiple tour groups crowded in there together at the same time. Plus it was a major mess when, on our first day, all of the tour buses showed up at the Kletter Hotel the same time. I think the Kletter hotel needs to stagger the bus arrivals for its guests. But overall it was a great tour. I loved the folk museum with the turf houses! Thor, our Tour Guide, was perfect!Show more
