Antonio took really good care of us, sharing his insightful knowledge of the area, and Susanna cooked the most delicious food for us. I will never forget her homemade vegetarian lasagna. However, this one was extraordinaire from the villages and towns we visited to the very unique and posh hotel accommodations and incredible meals we enjoyed. Caspin Journeys is truly a unique travel experience. Caroline and Pino's attention to detail and personal touches showed in every aspect of our journey. Being a small group allowed us to travel in their comfortable, roomy touring van. They chose beautiful unique boutique hotels. The food was delicious local classic cuisine accompanied with great wines. Their knowledge of the area and the balance of activity and sightseeing was great. We were also lucky to be accompanied by their newest addition to their company their son, Antonio. We had a terrific time and can see why everyone in our group had either travelled with them before or were referred by friends that had. I look forward to choosing another trip with them!Show more

The Pulia and Matera walking tour was a wonderfully different experience. This area of Italy does not have the hundreds of tourists buzzing around that one will find in Rome. Our walking tour took us through beautiful countrysides to see trulli homes, along beaches by the aquamarine Adriatic Sea and through ancient, giant olive tree groves. Our favorite, however, was the magical area of Matera. The night view takes your breath away and the history of this area is extremely interesting. Hiking in Matera is an emotional experience and one that we will never forget! Our guides, Pino and Caroline, not only took us to areas we would never have found on our own, but they picked beautiful and unique b&bs and farmhouses for us to stay...not to mention the delectable meals! They really think of everything!!!Show more
