Saint-Jean-de-Losne

The afternoon takes you to Saint-Jean-de-Losne where you can walk through historic sites like the 1636 Siege memorial and the Hotel-Dieu, a 17th-century hospital with ornate ironwork. The day wraps up with a tasting of local Burgundy specialties.

Chalon-sur-Saone
Starting early, you'll cruise toward Chalon-sur-Saone while watching the Saone River's hilly banks and traditional houses scattered on the slopes. Once in the city, there's an afternoon tour of this historic place where photographer Joseph Nicephore Niepce, one of the inventors of photography, was born.

Chagny
The morning cruise heads toward Chagny through rolling hillside scenery and meadows at a relaxed pace. In the afternoon, you'll hike to the Cirque du Bout du Monde to see the dramatic chalk cliffs carved by the Cozanne River and a waterfall that drops over 80 feet.

Santenay - Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune
Near Santenay, you'll visit a historic chateau surrounded by vineyards where the owner gives a personal tour of the vineyard, discussing cultivation methods and the family's winemaking history. After the wine tasting, you'll cruise to Saint-Leger-sur-Dheune in the afternoon. Tonight is the gala dinner.
