  This was a mess from the very beginning. I bought the tour via tourhub from Bamba travel promising a small group up to 10 pers. Up to two weeks before the tour there were no updates and finally I got an email saying that it will be Amadeo with up to 50 people in the bus. It was a disaster, but there were only two weeks left before the trip and could find no other options. Than it was a mess at the meeting point - no clear organization to distribute people into the buses. The guide was not sure about me participating, told me "I'll check and "it's strange that you don't have a Canadian visa" (I asked the tour operator before and they told I can stay in the US). He communicated in such a way that I thought I would be dropped off. The treatment was as if we are sheep. The bus was old, it broke during the trip and the driver fixed it. The speaker was also breaking constantly. The guide was Chinese and his English was very poor. Also he was not knowledgable at all, mostly keeping silent (70% of the time) and mostly speaking with the Chinese part of the group (20%). It looked like I am not in the US, but in China. The 4-day tour consisted of 2 days with this guide on one bus and 2 days with Sharon on the other bus. They return me to New York for the change, which I was not warned about (the iternary did not mention it) and it was a loss of time. Sharon and the second part of the tour was ok.Show more

  The overall organization prior to the beginning of the tour was great and sufficient. Very friendly and helpful guides! They knew the best photo spots and provided some general background information. I would have liked a bit more facts about the places we visited and additional information such as historic dates and fun facts and so on though. The bus and driver were great as well. Unfortunately, some locations were closed due to public holidays and the upcoming presidential inauguration in Washington D.C. The guides provided good alternatives but it would have been nice to know in advance, that the itinerary needs to be slightly changed. The stops in Washington from were a bit rushed and a lot of walking was involved, which might not be suitable for children and elderly people. We went to the Canadian side for the Niagara Falls. This was not specifically mentioned on the itinerary. Even upon asking beforehand whether we will be leaving the US, it was said that we will not go to the Canadian side. This should have been clearly stated on the itinerary. For return trips to New York, a lot of time was spent on the bus (up to 4 hours). It would have been nice to know this in advance to better prepare. Overall great experience - I would recommend the tour in general.Show more

  A hectic and fast paced trip, starting with early mornings. Loved Niagara Falls and being able to go to the Canadian side for one night (remember to apply for a Canadian Esta and bring your passport). Pennsylvania and Amish country side was a treat. Wish we had more time there. Love hearing about American history. Then Washington DC- amazing city. We disembarked after touring DC monuments and aeronautical museum and spent two more days in DC. Wharf, eateries, sights and monuments within reach.Show more

  There was massive miscommunication from the start.Tour radar made a mess of everything.I emailed TourRadar twice for the meeting point of the tour.They gave me the WRONG MEETING POINT twice.I waited from 6.15 am at the wrong place.There qas no one to ask and TourRadar did not pick up the phone.There was no other phone number attached.It was only when the staff at The Grayline center came over at 6.30 am that he directed is 5 blocks away.We almost missed the bus. Once on the bus an unnamed man with no name tag told us that the tour operator (Empire Vacations)hadn't been paid by Bamba.I then had to reluctantly give my visa card details again to him.Payment to TourRadar was already done 3 weeks ago. This was a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE caused by TourRadar and Bamba. DO NOT BOOK ANY TOUR throught TourRadar. An email from TourRadar confirming the updated meeting point was only sent at 5 pm on the day the bus had already arrived Niagara.TOO LATE!Show more
