What is the typical group size for the tours?

The group sizes vary depending on the tour, but typically range from small to medium-sized groups to ensure a personal and rewarding experience.

Due to back problems I cannot sleep on a thin mat, do you have some more information about the mattress we will sleep on?

We use Exped Synmat LW inflatable mattresses.

How are the train connections from Copenhagen to the starting point of the tour?

There are great train connections from Copenhagen to Norrköping, and you can book the entire trip through SJ.

Are there any age restrictions for tour participants?

Yes, participants need to be at least 18 years old for most tours, but specific age requirements may vary depending on the tour's activity level and type.

Is it possible to do the trip with 3 people with only a bit of camping experience?

It's totally fine to have just a bit of camping experience. We do a 3 hour briefing before you head out, and go through how to use all the kit, how to land the kayaks, how to find a good camp spot, navigation etc. We also give you our comprehensive guide book with points of interest.

Can I join a trip as a solo traveler?

Yes, solo travelers can join our guided trips. Our first one of the season starts on June 7th.

What is the best time to travel for kayaking and camping in the archipelago?

Late September can be really nice for kayaking and camping. It's generally calm with beautiful sunsets, though slightly colder than the summer months.

How can I pay for the tour?

Everything run seamlessly, from being collected by Thomas at the youth hostel to arriving back at the end of our holiday. It was an amazing feeling pitching our tent on a desserted island each night. We were given a brand new tent and cooking equipment, which we were impressed with. We ordered way too much food, but it was all delicious. Recommend reading the guide your given on the first day - we saved it until the end of day 2 and missed a couple of tricks along the way. Highly recommended holiday! Show more
