  First the positives: it was nice having a private car/pickup to/from the airport and the guides, Anthony and Matthew...
  First the positives: it was nice having a private car/pickup to/from the airport and the guides, Anthony and Matthew were quite good. But we bailed on the tour after day 3 because the day included a total of over 12 hours on the bus which was way too long. The major problem was that the tour operator swept up people from various hotels in Athens, took you to a consolidation point and then sorted you to the right bus. We were picked up at 7:30 am and after 90 minutes, after we were finally on our right bus, we drove right past our hotel at 9:00 am. Totally ridiculous.So after day 3 we rented a private car service for over $300 and our guide took us to see Meteroa on our own and then drove us back to Athens for the return home. I would NOT book with Fez travel again and would try to dissuade anyone considering them.Show more

  Such a fantastic short break! Five days in Athens with a two day trip to Delphi and Meteora - so much history and culture and definitely not enough time! My guides, Michelle for Delphi/Meteora and Melitsa for my half day tour of Athens were brilliant: friendly and welcoming with an enlightening depth of knowledge about and interest in their subjects. It was also a breeze to change my itinerary last minute to accommodate a day trip to the islands, so thanks to Dimitris for being on hand at short notice to sort that out. Also thanks to the bus drivers Fanoris and George for negotiating tiny mountain roads and mad Athens traffic. (PS - I apologise for any incorrect spelling of names as I never saw them written down...) It was fantastic to just sit back and relax knowing that there was an expert team to take care of things - normally I am the one in charge of the itinerary at work so I recommend this kind of trip for anyone who wants all that taken off their hands so they can spend their time soaking up the beautiful country and culture.   The tour was primarily travel time, there was very little time at each site... only around 3 hours for each activity. Further, the tour was way too expensive for what it included. We were under the impression that meals, entrance fees, etc would be included since we paid nearly $550 for the tour, but we were only given hotel breakfasts and one dinner during the five days the tour included, which is pretty disappointing. In addition, the places we stopped at for lunch were way too expensive and not good at all. The tour guides were very average as well, none were particularly amazing, thought they were very nice. The iternary provided online is completely different from the order we actually did things and the hotel we stayed at in meteora was not the one they outlined and was rated lower than the other. Overall, not worth the money we spent and a disappointing experience in general.Show more

  I travel a lot and this is the worst tour operator I booked through tourtadar. This is not a tour at all. The company is a middle man that will sell you to other travel operators. They do pick you up in the airport and overcharge you for tickets. The actual tours and busses are provided by Go Tours. We saw people getting on the buses and paying them directly which is much better deal. Be prepared to ride in one bus for 90 minutes to get everybody on the bus and then change the bus for actual trip.Show more

  Great tour that packs a lot of sights in relatively short time. The city tour of Athens has all the sights you'd expect to see. The only thing you should know is that it's half a day. That gives quite a bit of extra time to explore Athens on your own in the afternoon. The trip to the temple of Apollo in Delphi is out of this world. I highly recommend taking the optional, short hike up to the stadium as well. The monasteries at Meteora are equally impressive. Our guide took us to two smaller, less-crowded monasteries, which I appreciated. We had plenty of time to look around and snap pictures. Our guide Maria was both funny and informative, always on hand to answer additional questions. Great trip if you're short on time but want to see a lot of Greece. Beware there's quite a bit of bus time included on the way to (and back) Meteora. Well worth it though.Show more
