Itinerary
- Day 1
Goa to Hampi
You'll drive from Goa to Hampi, covering around 350 kilometers. Once you arrive and check into your hotel, the afternoon and evening are free for you to settle in and rest after the journey. Take it easy and get comfortable with your surroundings.
- Day 2
Hampi
Start your morning at Hampi Bazaar and walk through the sacred temples and ghats in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The riverside area gives you a real sense of what the ancient Vijayanagara empire looked like. By afternoon, head east to the Vittala Temple, a 16th-century structure that's the centerpiece of most visits here. You'll spend the day wandering between different ruins and getting a feel for how spread out everything is across the landscape.

- Day 3
Hampi to Badami
You'll drive from Hampi to Badami, about 130 kilometers away. Along the way, you'll stop to see the temples at Pattadakal and Aihole. Pattadakal is a World Heritage Site featuring 10 major temples that show early Chalukaya architecture. Aihole has over a hundred temples scattered throughout the area and is known as the 'Cradle of Indian Architecture'. After reaching Badami and checking in, you'll do an afternoon tour of the cave temples here, which are set among canyon hills, lakes, and farmland. It's a full day of travel and sightseeing, so pace yourself.

Badami to Goa
After breakfast, you'll leave Badami and drive across the Western Ghats toward Goa, about 350 kilometers total. The drive takes you through some nice scenery as you head west toward the coast. Later in the afternoon or early evening, you'll arrive at either your hotel in Goa or the airport, depending on which option you've chosen.
