    It is indeed possible to join the tour from Day 3. However, please note that according to the itinerary, Day 3 is a free day in Rome. For this reason, instead of booking the full 7-day Rome & Amalfi Coast tour, you may find it more convenient to book the 4-day Amalfi Coast Experience tour and join the group directly there. This would give you more flexibility to plan your time in Rome as you prefer.
    
    If you wish, we would also be happy to suggest optional activities in Rome, such as Colosseum or Vatican guided tours, food tours, walking tours, or cooking classes.
    
    Of course, if you would still prefer to join the original 7-day tour starting from Day 3, that is absolutely possible as well.
    
    Regarding room sharing, while we normally do our best to accommodate guests according to gender, this cannot always be guaranteed. That said, we have noted your preference for a female-only shared room and will do our best to arrange this for you.

    Breakfast, as well as most meals, are not included in the tour cost. We like to give our travelers the flexibility to enjoy and discover local delicacies according to their own preferences and dietary requirements.

    There is also the possibility to add an optional Welcome Dinner in Sorrento on Day 4 to your reservation.

    From Day 4 to Day 7, you will be exploring the Amalfi Coast. The group will stay in Sorrento, a beautiful town along the coast, for the last three nights of the tour.
    
    On Day 5, you will visit Capri, with approximately half a day of free time to explore the island at your own pace.
    
    On Day 6, you will visit Amalfi and Positano, with a couple of hours of free time there to explore, shop, relax, or enjoy a swim.

    If you would like to book a shared room as a solo traveler, you simply need to select the "Shared" accommodation option and indicate 1 traveler when making your reservation. This allows us to allocate you in a room shared with other travelers who have also selected the shared option.

    If needed, we can arrange a high-speed train ticket from Naples to Rome on Day 1 at an additional cost.
    
    • Amalfi & Puglia – 8 Days
    Starts in Naples and ends in Bari.
    
    • Mamma Mia – 13 Days
    Starts in Rome and ends in Venice.
    We can arrange additional train connections if required.
    
    Please note that many tours in Italy start in Rome, Florence, Venice, or Milan due to their larger international airports. However, we are always happy to assist with pre- or post-tour high-speed train tickets if you prefer to begin or end in Naples.

    Airport transfers are not automatically included in our tour packages. However:
    
    • Most Italian airports offer convenient and affordable shuttle bus services to the city center.
    • Taxis are also readily available.
    • If you prefer a private airport transfer, we can certainly arrange one for you upon request. Please note that private transfers in Italy can be relatively expensive and would increase the overall cost of your trip.

    As the alternative tours we suggested below are hosted by the same tour operator, Italy on a Budget Tours, it would be possible to transfer your deposit from one tour to another operated by our company.
    
    However, if you decide to switch from a tour with one tour operator to a tour with a different tour operator, it would not be possible to transfer your deposit, as the two tours would belong to two separate companies.

    Most of our tours offer a shared accommodation option. However, the total number of travellers per room depends on the specific tour you are interested in and the destinations included in the itinerary.
    
    Alternatively, you may visit the tour page on TourRadar website and check the "Accommodation" section below the daily itinerary, where you will find useful information about the lodging arrangements. You can also consult the calendar to view all available departure dates and the corresponding prices for the different accommodation options.
    
    Regarding room allocation, we usually do our best to assign guests according to gender. However, this cannot always be guaranteed. Once your booking is completed, you may inform our team that you prefer a female-only room. If availability allows, we will certainly accommodate your request.

    - Rome: 4/8-bed mixed dorm in a popular, budget-friendly hostel near Termini Station.
    
    - Sorrento: 3-bed shared bungalow with en-suite bathroom in a camping village on a panoramic hill, just a 10-minute walk from the historical center.
    
    We also offer Private Rooms, which you can book if you prefer more privacy (please note that the full room must be paid for). You can also find detailed information about the accommodations on the website.

    I'm happy to confirm that it is possible to arrange a single room. The accommodation would be a private room with ensuite bathroom, in budget accommodations such as hostels and a glamping village. The final price for a solo traveller is €1,950. Regarding your question about airport transfers, these are not organized but we can provide you with directions on how to reach the first accommodation. Airports are very well connected to the city center.

    The base price for the trip itself is £813, is a private room going to be over £1000 more? The double rooms are a lot cheaper, could I not have one of those to myself?

    Please note that private rooms are priced for double occupancy, meaning a minimum of two people is required. If you would like to have the room to yourself, the single-occupancy price is €1,950.     Concerning the group size, there are currently two other travelers booked on this departure. However, they are considering moving their reservation to the April 6 departure. I would also like to add that in recent years we have noticed a trend of travelers booking multi-day tours closer to the departure date, often just a few weeks or even a month in advance. For this reason, it is likely that additional participants will join at a later stage.

    Yes, accommodation is included for the entire duration of the tour, unless you select the tour only option. We have the multishare option or private double room. If you are a solo traveller and you wish your own privacy, single room can be requested based on availability. Meals are not included in this package as we like to give you the freedom to choose and try all the specialities based on your preferences & budget. The tour includes moderate walking, such as exploring historic towns, coastal villages, and archaeological sites. The tour is suitable for people of all body types. The pace is relaxed, and while there's some walking involved (mainly around towns and sites), nothing is overly strenuous.

    We don't offer daily hotel pick-up, as our tours are mostly done on foot. The hotels we use are in central areas, but not in noisy or party-heavy neighborhoods, even though there might be some bars around.

    On the first day we meet at the reception of the hostel which is centrally located, at 5/10 minutes walking distance from Roma Termini. The hostel is defined after the booking is complete, but it can be Yellow Hostel, Meininger etc.
