Do you really exclude over 35 year olds?

We believe travel is for everyone. Our 18-35's trips were created after interest from our youngest travellers who like travelling with people their own age. They told us that they were looking for trips that enabled them to travel with like-minded people of their own age (not going on the typical party bus tour). If you're older than 35, you can always book a seat on a similar Intrepid trip, which are open to all ages. We can suggest our Central American Journey which is essentially the same itinerary, but offers more meals/inclusions and less 'basic' accommodations than you'd find on the 18-35s tours.

The itinerary was well designed, offering a great balance between nature, culture, adventure, and downtime, allowing us to experience Central America in a deep and authentic way rather than just rushing from place to place. Everything was very well organized, from transportation and accommodations to daily activities and communication. Our group lead, Aurora, played a key role in making this happen. Explaining in full detail of all the countries histories, making us all fully aware of how each country came to be making it not only fun but educational. He made me feel comfortable in each country, helping me with anything I needed. Went above and beyond in his job role as tour leader. He made or experience more realistic, taking us to small local restaurants making sure we were helping the local communities out. When I got ill he helped me seek medical advice, with out him I wouldn’t of been able to do this.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
