  Will you arrange the pickup at airport and transport to the airport thereafter when we leave? Will you book us for the extra nights into the hotel that we will be picked from to start the tour?

    We wish to spend the afternoon on arriving at Aguas Calientes doing a Circuit on Machu Picchu that is not covered by your tour the next morning. Do we have enough time to do this? Can you arrange for the tickets and guide (if necessary) for us?

    At this time, there is no supplier or activity available to arrange hot air ballooning over the Nazca Lines. However, if you are returning to Lima after the tour, we can look into alternative experiences available in the region.

    According to the Tour Radar site, the tour cost for that particular date (13 October 2026) is US$1,555 per person on twin share basis and not US$1829.

    We will definitely want to do the Rainbow Mountain Trek, hence the need to extend our stay in Cusco. As the tour ends essentially in Cusco, please confirm that any extension of departure does not affect anything other than air tickets booking to return to Lima and that does not affect the price of the tour.

    We have 3 circuits we book for our clients and can only assist with the included one Machu Picchu visit. Should you wish to go twice, you will need to make all the arrangements for the second visit independently.

    Your transportation to and from activities and included services is included, however, airport transfers do not fall within this category, therefore they can only be added at an additional cost.

    If you want to do the Rainbow Mountain trek, you will be able to book this activity with us on day 6, so no extension necessary in Cusco. Should you however feel like you did not have enough time in Cusco and you wish to extend your stay, you will forfeit all services (including but not limited to the flights and accommodation) from Cusco onwards and you will need to arrange all services yourselves. No discounted rate will be offered and the internal flights booked with our team cannot be altered.

    On Day 4, the train journey from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The group should arrive back in Aguas Calientes around midday, giving you time to check in at the hotel, drop your bags, and enjoy free time during the afternoon.

    Generally, there is enough time to visit Machu Picchu on Day 4. The bus journey between Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu takes approximately 30 minutes each way, and travellers are usually able to fit in a circuit visit that afternoon, even taking bus queues into consideration.

    The specific Machu Picchu circuit included on Day 5 cannot be confirmed in advance, as this depends on permit availability at the time the booking is secured. There are currently three main circuits available, and the assigned route is only confirmed once permits are issued for your travel date. If you would like to book an additional/different circuit for Day 4, we would recommend waiting until your included circuit has been confirmed.

    If you choose to extend your stay in Cusco and arrange your own flight from Cusco to Lima, this would affect the included Lima hotel and internal flight arrangements on the tour. We would need to request a custom quote from our Reservations team to remove or amend the included flight/hotel components accordingly.

    IT will usually take a couple of nusiness days to secure our Machu Pichu Tickets, once the booking has been requested. After that you ill be able to organise yourself better and organise additional tickets etc.

    Rainbow Mountain is not included in the standard itinerary for this tour; however, it may be possible to arrange it locally during your time in Peru, depending on the tour schedule and availability. As this excursion is operated separately from the main G Adventures itinerary, we would generally recommend arranging it in advance through with us. I would also be happy to check whether there are any pre- or post-tour options available through G Adventures that could accommodate a visit to Rainbow Mountain alongside your tour.

  About Machu Picchu day. Is your guided ruins tour plus optional circuit 1 a similar experience to the Circuit 2 options when booking direct? Also, to confirm, ruins tour plus optional circuit 1 is doable on the day you take us up?

    We, by default, book circuit 2 on the Machu Picchu Permits. If they are unavailable for the tour dates that you are booked on, we would offer to book circuit 3 first then circuit 1 if the other is not available. If you are not interested in circuit 2 and want to do circuit 1 or 3 then we can arrange this with the Local Team. Multiple circuits cannot be done on the same day and if you wish to do them, this will need to be arranged all on your side.

Regarding the internal flight, the Cusco to Lima sector is currently scheduled as follows: Departure from Cusco: approximately 12:00 Arrival in Lima: approximately 14:00. Please note that flight times are subject to change.

  what is the cost of this activity - Visit local Chicheria (corn beer bar)? How much is the rainbow hike? and what is the additional cost for the ATV to the rainbow mountain? Also what circuit is it for machu pichu?     A chicheria is a local bar where traditional corn beer is served. There is no fixed activity cost you would simply pay for any food or drinks you order, and prices are set locally at the venue.
    
    The optional hike to Rainbow Mountain costs $68 CAD per person. This includes transportation from the hotel and drop-off afterward.
    
    Machu Picchu Circuit - For the available departure date, the route currently requested is the Panoramic Circuit.
    Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours
    Features:
    > Access is limited to the upper section of the site.
    > Does not include entry into the main urban area of the citadel.
    > Key landmarks such as the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Condor, Intihuatana, and Sacred Rock are viewed from a distance only.
    > Includes access to the classic postcard photo viewpoint.
    > The visit is shorter, but your guide will still provide explanations and answer questions where possible.
    
    The flight from Cusco to Lima is scheduled to depart at 12:00 PM and the optional cooking class in Lima is $113 CAD per person. A pre in Lima can be arranged for $75 CAD per person.

    Can you please confirm that the extra night in lima can be at the start of the trip so one day earlier? This is $75 for the extra night? Secondly this would include my pickup from airport one day early right? The rainbow mountain does it include the atv ride? What is the duration of the hike?

    The pre-accommodation is booked at the start hotel of the tour, Arawi Express Miraflores Hotel, for $67 CAD per room per night in a Single Room or a Double/Twin Room.
    
    The pre-night cost does not include transfers. This is an additional service to add to the booking.
    
    The transfers (arrival and departure) are $75 CAD each way.
    
    The Rainbow Mountain hike does not include an ATV ride. The hike is 8 km long.
