  We originally planned to land in Hanoi but there was no direct flight, so luckily we took a direct flight to Saigon instead and later flew back from Hanoi to Saigon for our departure. Despite the change, everything was completely smooth thanks to the great schedules arranged by the local tour operator. We started in lively Ho Chi Minh City with the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels and a wonderful day in the Mekong Delta before flying to charming Hoi An. The ancient town, lanterns and nearby My Son Sanctuary were highlights, followed by historic Hue and then Hanoi. The overnight cruise on Halong Bay was the perfect climax – unforgettable memories we will always treasure. Hotels were good throughout and the food was consistently delicious. The whole experience easily deserves 6 stars. A big thank you to Danny and his team for handling our flight changes so professionally and making every day run without stress. Their support and organisation turned what could have been a complicated itinerary into a seamless and enjoyable journey from south to north. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a complete and well-paced Vietnam adventure. We would travel with them again without hesitation.Show more

  It was our first time of visiting Vietnam and wanted the benefit of an arranged tour being taken care of for us. The trip went like clockwork and without a hitch. Any questions raised with Danny of Legend travel were dealt with so quickly and it was great to meet him when we eventually arrived into Hanoi on the last leg of our trip. There was a varied itinerary along the way which made every day interesting and different. The times of internal flights from South to North meant we were able to squeeze maximum use out of the time we had in each stop over destination. I would highly recommend using Legend travel.Show more

  Excellent communication and logistics from this tour especially Mr Danny who seems to work 24 hours a day. Due to flooding he had to quickly rearrange the tour to avoid Hue. Lucky for me I got to spend the night in Da Nang across from the beach. Vietnam is so different in many ways not the least of which is the adventure of crossing a street. Too many highlights to mention. One standout was the Halong Bay overnight cruise. Spectacular. I’d go to Vietnam again if there weren’t so many other places to go.Show more

  The trip takes you to many places, the price is right, and the owner, Danny, is a really nice guy who is trying hard to give you a good experience. But three things I have to mention: 1) You are not on a group tour. Other countries I've visited on group tours were just that, group tours. 10 to 50 people going around together for ten days. You're by yourself here. You may be with someone else, or a few other people, on day one, then different people on day two, then alone on day three. You're never with the same group, so you don't get to know anyone. Now I was traveling with my gf, so it was fine, but had I been a single tourist this would be terrible! Even with my gf, I enjoy spending the majority of my time with her, but it's nice to make friends with other couples. So, you should know this ahead of time. 2) This is a big one, the tour guilds don't speak English. Oh they sort of do, a little, but nowhere near enough. You generally get a different guild every day, or at least every city. We got stuck with one guy for about three or four days. His English was so minimal that we learned nothing about where we where. I tried to listen in to other tours, which made him angry. I was extremely jealous of these groups of 20 following around a local who spoke crisp English, understood and answered questions... Our guy just couldn't speak any more than very basic English. "Here. Palace. Live King. Live Queen. You see?" 3) There are things left off the tour which really should be on it. We found out from another couple about Golden Bridge and luckily were able to go there (it's great), but would have missed it otherwise. We went to two night time shows (Memory Show and Bamboo Show) on our own. Should have been included with the tour, even if that meant upping the price a bit, you just don't want to miss these. We did not get to see the glass suspension bridge, and I would have liked to. It was still a good tour, and I'm glad I took it. Danny is a good owner and I write this to help him improve.Show more
