I am considering taking a trip to Colombia. The prices are for a shared room. Would I be paired with someone else? Could I pay for a single room? If so, how much is the surcharge for the single room?

As a solo traveller, you can book with the twin/double room price and be paired up with another solo traveller of the same gender. Or you can pay an additional 419.00 USD and have your own room, subject to availability. If you book the "My Own Room" option, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Nights 2-3: Armenia (these nights will be shared with another solo traveller).

What is the cost of single rooms?

The price to have your own room on this tour is an additional cost of 349 EUR. There are exceptions to the 'my own room' option on this tour for nights 2-3 for when you are staying at a traditional Hacienda. However all the other nights of the tour you will have your room.

Would it be possible for us to break from the group and skip the bus ride from Salento to Medellin, and book our own transportation from Salento to Pereira airport and fly to Medellin, and then meet back up with the group when you arrive?

Taking alternative transportation would be possible, we would just like to know in advance at time of booking so we can advise the tour leader. Also this would be classes as signing off the tour and no refund would be eligible for the missed service.

I had an absolute ball in Columbia! Our CEO, Andres, had us all well organised and provided a seemingly endless list of resturants and activities for our free time in every location we went to. Travelling Columbia might seem daunting but this trip is a brilliant and very safe way to see this amazing country. Its only after the trip I wished I could have made it longer. Travel on the tour is a mix of private bus, flights and public bus. Andres was with us every step of the way. Such a great way to get the know the country!Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
