Great intro into Mexico with what underpins all cultures. Food!

Hi David, So happy to hear that you had a great time in Mexico. And yes we agree – the food in Mexico is the best! Tacos al pastor, mole, chilaquiles… take me back!! Hope to see you on another trip with us soon – where’s your next food adventure?

We took this tour because there are other many tours available in Mexico. The bus rides are long—especially the nine hour overnight ride. Our guide, although pleasant, had little experience with this tour and could not tell us a lot about the cities because his specialty was food.

Intrepid take you to the worst hotels in Mexico - nothing over three stars and nothing with air conditioning. None of the venues you eat at are of any particular culinary note. Very disappointing. Extremely overpriced for what is on offer.

Some of the hotels could have been a little nicer, but were still ok. The overnight bus was an experience! Many meals are included, and there's a flight back to Mexico city, so it is good value for money. Would definitely do this tour again!

Just returned from a fantastic food tour in Mexico! What a great time! 8 wonderful days of consuming the most gorgeous Mexican food, seeing the sights, exploring markets and tasting many types of mezcal. Jaime was a fantastic guide - nothing was too much trouble. New Year's Eve in Mexico City was an additional highlight
