    Accommodation includes Hotel (9 nights), Hostel (2 nights), Guesthouse (2 nights), Pension (1 night). Rooms may not always have private en suite facilities or air-conditioning. European hotels generally don't provide kettles or fridges. On some occasions, alternative accommodation might be used if preferred rooms are unavailable.

    A single supplement is not available on this trip. Airport transfers can be arranged. From Berlin Brandenburg Airport to A&O Hostel Berlin Hauptbahnhof : 110.00 USD. Piazzale Roma to Venice Airport : 99.00 USD.

    This itinerary has a mix of included activities and free time when your leader will offer suggestions. Please budget spending money for optional activities you want to take part in. Accommodation on this trip is basic. Rooms are twin or multishare, meaning you will share a room with other travellers of the same gender. Hotels in Europe often don't have double beds, but rather two single beds that can be pushed together/apart. Rooms can be small, especially compared to American or Australian standards, and in most cases bathroom facilities will be shared rather than ensuite. A single supplement is not available on this trip.

    Please read the day-to-day itinerary carefully to find out more details on each day's activities, and whether they are suitable for you. Activities can be opted out of if you don't want to participate. One of the pleasures of travelling in Europe is the ease at which cities can be explored on foot. Your leader will take you on frequent orientation walks, and you will be able to further explore in your own time. We recommend you pack comfortable walking shoes for this trip. Many of our customers are surprised at how much they end up walking, however this is entirely up to you, and public transport to take you back to our accommodation is never far away.

    Please expand on hostel as this varies from mixed dorms to 1 sex dorms to private rooms also beds from doubles singles and bunks.

Accommodation: Hotel (9 nights), Hostel (2 nights), Guesthouse (2 nights), pension (1 night). The style of accommodation is a guideline and may change.     Cancellation policy: (a) 56 days or more prior to departure, we will hold your deposit amount as a credit; (b) between 31 and 55 days prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking cost; (c) between 30 and 15 days prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 60% of the total booking cost; (d) 14 days or fewer prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking cost.

    Day 1 of the tour is an arrivals day, which means you can arrive in Berlin at any time. Spend your free day settling in at your hotel and exploring, before gathering at 6pm to meet your guide and fellow travellers.
