My wife and I have recently returned from a truly excellent 18-Day "Best of Vietnam and Cambodia." The group of fourteen comprised British, Australian, South African, Canadian and New Zealanders, ranging in age from late twenties to 70. Fortunately, the younger element was able to keep up with the older ones and, in spite of the wide age-range, the group melded perfectly - we frequently chose to dine together. We are experienced travellers and have usually organised our own trips. We thought we knew what we wanted to see in South-East Asia but, when we read Intrepid's itinerary, we couldn't improve on it. There are too many highlights to mention in a brief review but the standard of our hotels, the variety of modes of transport, the seamless organisation, the opportunities for visiting places which we would never have found for ourselves and, most of all, the enthusiasm and competence of our two local guides all deserve mention. One does not need to be "intrepid" to enjoy this trip but normally independent travellers need not fear that they will be herded in a large mob. You will want to participate in all of the visits and activities and there is enough "free" time in which to explore on your own. Judging by this, our first experience of Intrepid Travel, we can wholeheartedly recommend them.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 26th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
