Our programs are based in hotels. The standard packages include 3* hotels and premium package include 4* hotel. Note that upon request you can upgrade your hotels to 5*. This tour is a semi-private partially guided tour. This means that apart from Day 3 in Mykonos and Day 5 in Santorini, that you will participate in two organized half-day group guided tours, the rest of the days you will be enjoying your free time in each destination without being part of a larger group. I would like to inform you that the average age of the people in the included tours is varied from people in their 20s to those in their 70s.

Is food included in the city tour packages?

Some tour variants, for example, the Athens City Tour + Cape Sounion, include meals such as lunch during the tour.

The city tour, specifically the Athens Sightseeing tour, is a half-day tour that allows you to observe the striking contrasts in Athens. It includes visits to the Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and more. You will also visit Acropolis to see the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Parthenon, and conclude at the new Acropolis museum.

Are there any leisure days included in the tour?

Yes, the tour design allows you to have leisure days, particularly in Mykonos and Santorini, where you can enjoy free time apart from the organized tours.

What are the transport options included in the package?

The transport options included are air-conditioned coach transfers, pick-ups and drop-offs at the hotel, and ferry transfers between the islands.

What cultural sites are included in Athens during the tour?

Everything was handled for us from tours to transport and the company was incredibly communicative. They even made dinner reservations. The only drawback was the hotels. The Athens hotel was a little old and didn’t have enough tables at breakfast. The Mykonos hotel wasn’t able to accommodate early check in but they were the best by far. The hotel in santorini was nice but small and the rooms had ants. Overall a great trip. I would use this company again and fully recommend them!Show more

This tour started with one free day on our own in Athens, where we first met with a Travel Zone rep to go over all the plans and receive tickets. The following morning we were picked up and transported to the port to take a ferry to the island of Mykonos. Upon our arrival there, we were met with a transport and taken to our hotel. We had the rest of the day free on our own and did the Delos Tour the following day (4hrs). The 4th day, we transferred by ferry from Mykonos to Santorini and were taken to our hotel. The following day we did our Aphrodite sunset cruise (6hrs). The 6th day was another transfer day from Santorini back to Athens via a ferry. And the last day was spent in Athens on our own. Transportation and pick ups were provided all along the way, as well as hotels each night. The only time we had to pay for any transport was after we checked into our hotels and wanted to explore on our own. The Delos Tour on Mykonos is a separate island that is reached by a boat, which takes 30min. You are on the island for 3 hrs (1.5hrs guided) and then another 30m boat ride back. The island is secluded with only 1 women's toilet and 1 men's toilet, no snacks and 1 water bottle pay machine. Take a hat, sunscreen, snack and water with you. Use the restroom on the boat. There is alot of walking involved on this tour to see everything. The Sunset Oia tour (Aphrodite boat cruise) is all day and leaves in the afternoon. We set sail around the Santorini, Tholos and Thirasia islands. We first stopped at a volcano for hiking and a guided tour. It is a treacherous hike!! No one in my group completed it! It is an additional 5 euro entrance fee as it's a nationally protected land. Afterwards, we made a stop at a hot springs in the agean sea and anyone interested could jump off the boat and swim to the springs. Next, as we sailed around the islands, we anchored near Thirasia and were able to swim again. Then, dinner was served and we sailed back to Santorini, making a stop near OIa to watch the sunset. In Athens and at each of the Islands, we were provided with a separate travel agent. They each met us on our first day at the location and provided us with the tickets and information we needed for our stay there. I was able to stay in communication with them by using WhatsApp. Helpful to download ahead of time if you don't already have it. Everything was very detailed and I was never left out to dry, confused, not picked up or mixed up in any way. The guided were very helpful in explaining everything and answering my questions as we went along. I would definitely recommend upgrading the ferry rides. With the upgrade, it took 3hrs from Athens to Mykonos, 3hrs from Mykonos to Santorini and 5hrs from Santorini to Athens. You have assigned seats on the ferry, so no need to be the first ones in line.Show more

Not a single complaint. Everyone who met us and directed us along the way was top-notch. Transportation needs were taken care of plus the guides were incredible. Delicious meals; mid-class or above overnights. And we were able to make decisions on our own much of the time. We never felt like we were in a huge bus or part of a big tour group just shuttled around. Semi-private tours is the way to go. Just the two of us or up to six as far as group size. Maria, the cab drivers, the historians, all were attentive and fun. For two people who always make the plans and travel alone, we were not disappointed with Travel Zone's sharing the work so we could just enjoy. It was a memorable trip. Thank you.Show more

Travel Zone Company was phenomenal throughout our trip. We had some minor issues due to 2 days of seamen and airline strikes. The company notified us of an upcoming 24-hour seamen strike and had to push up our scheduled ferry ride by one day. The KLM airline (sister company to Delta) strike occurred the day before we had to fly back home. As a result of the strike, most Delta flights going to the US were rescheduled to accommodate the people that had cancelled flights from the day before. We had to stay an extra night. The company was gracious enough to find us a hotel as we had to fly out the next day. The only issues we had with the itinerary was the planned guided tours in Delos and Santorini. The tour guide for Delos was very rude and rushed us. The Santorini tour stated that we would have time to go swimming on the beach and we did not. We overdressed and over-packed thinking we were going to be swimming. These issues did not lower our rating of the tour company. The staff at Travel Zone was great when they greeted us at each new destination. Everything was well planned and executed. We opted for the 4 star hotels. The best hotel was Pelican Bay Hotel in Mykonos. The room was gorgeous and they had great service. The Strogili Hotel was ok but too far from Oia, The garden view was not pleasing as the island was very arid. The President Hotel was in a good section of Athens but the standard rooms was small. I gave Travel Zone a 5 star because they were very attentive and did the best to accommodate us throughout the trip.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Travel Zone. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Travel Zone will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Travel Zone" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
