I don't even know where to begin. These two weeks with Safari2Gorilla Tours were truly the trip of a lifetime - although certainly not my last with them. From the very first contact, everything was seamless and professional. Communication with Aron was excellent; he has a calm, friendly, and professional manner that immediately put me at ease. The entire process, from the initial inquiry and itinerary planning to payment and final arrangements, was smooth and stress-free. As a woman traveling solo, feeling comfortable and safe is incredibly important to me, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My guide, Martin, was absolutely outstanding. He was calm, professional, organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. His sense of humor, reliability, and deep understanding of the places we visited made every day special. He was always punctual, attentive, and seemed to think of everything before I even had to ask. For two weeks, I was able to completely switch off and simply enjoy the adventure because Martin took care of every detail. That level of trust and peace of mind is priceless. Thank you so much, Aron and Martin, for creating such an unforgettable experience. This was hands down the best trip I've ever taken, and I can't wait to come back for more!Show more

This was a 5 day gorilla and chimpanzee trekking tour. The tour operator, Aron was extremely communicative and responsive during the booking period. He provided excellent recommendations and was very flexible. The guide/driver, Martin was very responsible and knowledgeable. The accommodations were spectacular! As a single woman travelling alone, I was never worried. All in all an excellent experience and 5 days that will stay with me forever.Show more

We modified this tour a bit but this was the closest match for this review. We're very glad we chose Safari to Gorilla Tours and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. After researching Safari Bookings to compare companies and itineraries we chose S2G because we liked the itinerary options, price point, and they have great reviews. Aron made it very easy to arrange and happily accommodated a change to fit our schedule. Our trip had 2 gorilla treks, one in Rwanda and one in Uganda, a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kazinga River Channel safari and the Mabamba Swamp to see the Shoebill stork, with mid-range accommodations (most were beautiful with stunning settings and views). They can provide high-end accommodation if preferred. Our 8 day tour began in Kigali, Rwanda and ended at the Entebbe airport in Uganda. Aron was incredibly responsive throughout the process and responded to my questions with good guidance and kindness. Our driver guide Obed was wonderful. He was warm, friendly, very knowledgeable, a former National Park Ranger, and made sure we had a very enjoyable and easy experience all along the way. We would gladly book with Aron and Safari to Gorilla Tours again. A couple of points that might be helpful to know is 1) to take more money for miscellaneous tips than you think you need. There are many helpful people along the way that you will want to tip and it makes a big difference in their lives, 2) our schedule was ambitious but if we had more time it would have been lovely to stay longer at some of the places and soak in the experience. Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Safari 2 Gorilla Tours (U) Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
