The tour and package inclusions were great. We really enjoyed our time onboard the ship and all organised excursions. From the pickup by Mazen, to meeting Basma who led us through the first excursions to our guide Peter who led us throughout the remainder of the trip. We also really appreciated the helpful and hospitable staff on the ship, the restaurant manager Mohammad and the cook Ibrahim. Everyone on board was courteous and attentive, and they make an effort in personalising the experience. The sites visited were amazing, and the knowledge of Peter on all things Egypt and his story telling approach made for an engaging experience. It was a great trip and we really got to see a lot of Egypt. Of course, the trip was also strictly timed and sometimes exhausting, but it was all worth it. In Cairo we had Sara as our guide and she was really great. We then had Joseph on the Nile. The tour group was rather unhappy with him. He always seemed annoyed and rushed us and didn't always make sure that everyone was there, which was a shame. Otherwise, we always had a contact person from the tour operator who we could write to if we had any problems and who always took care of everything. The schedule was not always as described here. Of course, there can always be changes, but sometimes you were only informed about them very late, which is a shame because you want to be prepared for the day. But all in all, you are really well served here and get to see a lot of Egypt in a short space of time.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 40% is required to confirm your booking with Golden Egypt. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
