This was a great tour and an amazing way to experience both Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The itinerary was well organized and allowed us to see a lot while still enjoying each destination. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the trip, and the overall organization and transportation went smoothly. I especially enjoyed experiencing the history, architecture, and culture of both countries. Overall, it was a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring Central Asia.Show more

What I liked most about the itinerary is that it gives travelers the opportunity to explore several destinations rather than spending the entire trip in one place. This trip was amazing! We had a great time and the organisers handled everything smoothly. It was fantastic to see so much of Uzbekistan and we felt like we got a really great taste of Turkmenistan. Highlights were the beautiful Silk Cities, particularly Khiva and Bukhara and an incredible dinner as we camped in the desert by the Darvaza Gas Crater. The tour was well organised, however it was more semi-guided, as we had a few different drivers and guides throughout the experience, except in Turkmenistan we had one guide the whole time. It was definitely useful to have an eSIM to be able to communicate on WhatsApp and everybody responded promptly and all drivers and guides were very knowledgable and lovely. The semi-guided nature wasn't a drawback for us as we enjoyed having some down time and moments exploring to ourselves, and it gave us plenty of time for souvenir shopping!Show more

An amazing tour to countries that would have been difficult to get around by ourselves. The guides and drivers were great and we learnt a lot about the countries history and current way of life. The tour was fully guided in Turkmenistan but not so in Uzbekistan. That was fine for us as my daughter is a seasoned traveller and had an Uzbekistan sim so we were able to stay in communication and get around easily ourselves. Some problems at the border crossings but overcome with help from a friendly local and a lot of patience. We found out in day 1 that we were the only ones on the tour which didn’t bother us as we often travel together. We went in July, it was very hot, but not crowded which made for amazing photos.Show more

He is considering travelling from August 13 to August 25 and is also looking for a potential room-sharing option.

  --For Uzbekistan, you are eligible for a 30-day visa-free entry.
  --For Turkmenistan, we will assist you in arranging the invitation letter, which usually takes around 10–12 days to be issued. With this invitation letter, you will be able to obtain a visa on arrival in Turkmenistan. In addition, our local guide will assist you at the border to ensure a smooth visa process.
