Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco to Willkikasa
Your pickup starts at 5:00 a.m. for the drive to Sacred Valley. You'll stop at Calca and then soak in the medicinal waters at Lares Hot Springs before the main trek begins. The hike starts from Cuncani, passing by Pacchayoc waterfall along the way. After lunch, you continue climbing toward Abra Willkakasa, where the views open up across the valley. Later in the day you descend to Quiswarani camp, where local families will be waiting. This is where you'll spend the night and get to know the community.

- Day 2
Quiswarani to Cancha Cancha
Start with a hot drink before heading out early. The main objective today is reaching Abra Pachacutec, which stands as the highest point of this entire trek. Once at the top, you'll take in the views before continuing on. After lunch, you have a two hour walk remaining to Cancha Cancha camp. When you arrive, the local community will show you their handmade textiles and you'll spend some time together before dinner and rest.

Cancha Cancha to Aguas Calientes
You'll complete the final hiking stage through Sacred Valley terrain and reach Huaran by midday. After lunch there, it's time to say goodbye to your muleteers and cooks who've supported the trek. In the afternoon, head to Maras Salt Mines to see the traditional salt pools carved into the mountainside. From there, continue to Ollantaytambo village for dinner at a local restaurant. Later you'll board the train to Aguas Calientes and check into your hotel at the base of Machu Picchu.

- Day 4
Aguas Calientes to Cusco
Wake early for your visit to Machu Picchu before the main crowds arrive. A guide will lead you through the site for about two hours, taking you to the most notable areas. If you purchased additional mountain tickets in advance, you'll have the option to hike one of those peaks for even better views. You'll return to Aguas Calientes around noon and grab lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Afterwards, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, then private transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
