Looking at June 2026. Does your shuttle in Gamboa take us back to Panama airport?

Our tour does not include a transfer to airport in Panama City at the end of the tour, but the transfer is available for purchase. The cost of that transfer for 2025 departures is $5.00 USD.

If we are there a day early what happens? Do we have to find our own transportation from the airport? Is it possible to stay an extra day at the Gamboa Resort until the 19th? If so, would we need to find our own transportation back to the airport on the morning of the 19th?

We can offer you the additional nights at the rate of $73 USD per person for the night at the beginning of the tour and $59 USD per person at the end of the tour. The arrival and departure transfers will be $10 USD per person per transfer ($20 total per person).

Could we stay at the Gamboa Resort an extra day and still receive transportation back to the airport on the 19th? If we come on the 12th and decide to stay at a different hotel for the night until the 13th when the tour starts how would we become picked up or be able to start from somewhere that was not the airport? I see on the Gamboa Rainforest Resort website that there are several restaurants onsite. Can you give an average price for food?

We do to offer the option to extend your stay with additional nights. Once a reservation is booked we would be able to discuss further the options for extra nights. We also provide transportation services; however, please note that we only offer transfers between the airport and our partner hotels. If you choose to stay at a different location, you will need to arrange your own transfers. Regarding meals, we do not provide exact estimates for the cost of food at the hotel restaurants. Your tour director will be happy to assist you in finding dining options during the tour.

We do not have any departures after March 27, 2025. This tour is only scheduled on our off season.

We do not arrange your flights to and from the US. You will be responsible for your own flights.

How do you get back from Gamboa?

This tour will end in Gamboa. At the end of the tour, you will be able to fly back home from the Tocumen International Airport in Panama. You are responsible for your arrival and departure flights.

Airfare is not included in the price of the tour. You will be able to book your flights independently.

He made himself available for questions and advice whenever we needed it. I deal with a ot of Arthritic pain, he made sure I was comfortable, but also encouraged me to push through my pain to ensure I saw the best parts of the tour, especially Machu Picchu - some days I can’t walk 100 meters, but with Jaime’s support and guidance, I was able to walk through and see the whole of the incredible Inca site. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
