- Day 1
Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and check into your luxury hotel. This is your chance to settle in, rest up, and get ready for the Swiss adventure that's about to begin.

- Day 2
Zurich - Lucerne - Bern
Start the day walking through Zurich's pedestrian streets and historic bridges. From there, head to Lucerne for a guided tour along the waterfront with its colorful buildings, and you'll have time to see the Christmas Markets. Later you'll travel to Bern where a guide will walk you through the medieval heritage and then take you to Bear Park, which has been home to bears since 1857.

You'll head up to the alpine village of Gstaad for a brief orientation, then grab lunch on your own. After that, you'll continue to Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva where you can relax or explore its jazz culture and spend the evening however you like.

Montreux
This morning you can either explore Montreux or stay at your hotel. The highlight comes when you take a scenic train ride to Château-d'Oex for fondue lunch and a private cheese-making demonstration. You'll return to Montreux in the afternoon and spend your evening checking out the Christmas Markets.

Basel to Breisach
You'll enjoy a leisurely morning on your river cruise with coffee and breakfast in your suite. By afternoon you'll arrive in Breisach and can choose between a guided tour of Colmar with its Christmas Markets, or a walking tour of Freiburg featuring its impressive 13th Century Cathedral.

Breisach to Strasbourg
You'll arrive early in Strasbourg, a city where French and German architecture blend together right on the border. Your local guide will take you through the cathedral, Petit France, and Grand Ile while explaining the city's unique cultural heritage.

Strasbourg to Mannheim
Early arrival in Mannheim, known as the 'chessboard city' because of its grid layout. You can pick either an orientation tour of nearby Heidelberg with free time, or a historical tour that includes Heidelberg Castle with its Renaissance architecture and the world's largest wine barrel. Later there's an optional private classical concert at Bruchsal Palace if you're interested.

Mannheim to Rüdesheim
You'll dock in Rüdesheim, a charming town surrounded by steep vineyards with two thousand years of wine-making history. A mini-train from the pier will take you to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum where you can see approximately 350 self-playing instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries. Before heading back to your ship, you'll have time to wander through the town.

Rüdesheim to Cologne
At dawn you'll cruise through the Rhine Gorge passing vineyards and ancient castles. You'll arrive in Cologne, known for its laid-back vibe and home to the largest Christmas tree in the Rhineland. Your guide will walk you through Cologne Cathedral and you'll see the Christmas Markets with local treats and decorations. Your ship leaves after dinner.

Cologne to Düsseldorf
You'll arrive early in Düsseldorf, which is alive with Christmas markets, festive music, and mulled wine. The Old Town is full of festive visitors and the Königsallee displays traditional market stalls. A local guide will take you through the festive traditions, then you'll have free time to explore the Christmas markets on your own.

Amsterdam
After breakfast at your hotel, a transfer takes you from Amsterdam's port to the airport for your onward flight. Make sure your flight departs after 10:00 AM so you have enough time to get through check-in and security.
