Darwin
You'll arrive at the DoubleTree By Hilton in Darwin whenever suits your schedule. Your room opens up at 3 pm, so settle in and get comfortable. Around 6 pm, the group meets up to kick off the outback adventure together.

Darwin - Katherine
After breakfast, take a short guided walk through Darwin's city center to get your bearings. Then it's a drive south into Litchfield National Park with stops at Wangi Falls and Florence Falls, where the red rocks make a striking contrast against the green landscape. You'll pass through Pine Creek, a historic gold mining town, before rolling into Katherine by evening, a genuine outback town with real character.

- Day 3
Katherine - Kakadu National Park
Head out to Nitmiluk Gorge for a boat trip down the Katherine River through wild terrain. After that, jump in to cool off at the next waterfall you'll come to. Walk along the rocky banks at Edith Falls and swim if the mood strikes. Later, continue into Kakadu National Park to see ancient indigenous rock paintings and explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the country's largest nature reserve.

- Day 4
Kakadu National Park - Darwin
Start with a relaxed boat trip on Yellow Waters Lagoon where colorful parrots, whistling kites, and possibly saltwater crocodiles show themselves. From there, visit Nourlangie Rock to see the indigenous rock paintings that have been there for 20,000 years. Stop at the Window of the Wetlands for views across the wetlands before heading back to Darwin.

Darwin - Kununurra - Emma Gorge
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Kununurra, which takes you across the border into Western Australia. From the air, you'll see the vast outback landscape stretching out below. Once you land, continue on to Emma Gorge in the El Questro Wilderness Area, a remote and wild stretch of country.

- Day 6
Emma Gorge
Start with an active hike to Emma Gorge to find a hidden waterfall and natural pool tucked into the landscape. Afterwards, soak in the warm waters of Zebedee Springs, a natural hot springs surrounded by greenery. In the afternoon, join a 2-hour aboriginal culture tour to learn about the deep spiritual connection between aboriginal people and the land, including ancient stories, symbols, and customs.
