You already have 3 nights arranged in the Maldives. Additional nights can be arranged upon request. Additionally, a hot air balloon experience can also be arranged at a additional cost of USD 250 per person. If it is a private resort, drinks can be purchased separately. You will fly into Colombo International Airport and begin your tour in Sri Lanka. After completing the Sri Lankan portion of your journey, you will transfer to the Maldives, where you will enjoy leisure time. Once the Maldives portion of the tour is completed, you will return to Canada.

With intrepid as a solo traveller you can share twin room so not paying supplement - can you do the same. I was looking at Sri Lanka - maldives trip but as solo traveller can only afford one person price.

As per our standard tour accommodation policy, rooms are allocated on a private basis only. Shared bedrooms are therefore not available.

Could you please confirm the cost of additional nights, per night and per traveller? Additionally, could you advise on the pricing for a hotel upgrade and confirm whether alcohol consumption is permitted at the hotel locations? Lastly, please let us know if you are able to assist with flight arrangements.

Could you kindly let us know whether you would like an upgrade for both Sri Lanka and the Maldives, or only for the Maldives? Additionally, please note that alcohol is permitted in Sri Lanka, while in the Maldives, it depends on the location of your stay. Unfortunately, we are only able to arrange flights for the transfer from Colombo to Malé. For any other flights or routes, you may need to make separate arrangements.

We do not have any confirmed tours for the selected date for the Sri Lanka & Maldives combined tour at this time. Additionally, the Maldives Escape to Paradise – 5 Days is operated as a private tour, focusing entirely on a relaxed and leisure-oriented stay in the Maldives.

I am looking to book this trip in February. Would someone be available for pickup at that time, and will it be a 3 hour drive to the area? There is an 11:15 landing option, may be too late in the day?

We will pick you up from the airport on time. There will be approximately a 3-hour drive to the area, depending on traffic conditions. An 11:15 pickup can also be arranged for your convenience. The time will not be a problem at all, and we will ensure everything proceeds smoothly.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $50 is required to confirm your booking with Capital Lanka Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 25 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
