Zurich to Basel
You'll fly into Zurich and transfer to Basel, which sits right on the Rhine River and serves as a real cultural center for the region. After you board the 5-star Scenic Space-Ship this afternoon, you'll have time to meet other guests and get settled in. Later there's a welcome reception where you'll toast to the start of your wine journey.

Kehl (Strasbourg Region)
The ship docks in Kehl this afternoon, just across the border from Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace's wine region. You have options here: join a local guide through famous winemaking villages for a cellar tasting, take a walking tour of Strasbourg's Cathedral and Petit France, or go on an e-bike cycling tour along the canals with riverside art to see.

You dock early in Rastatt, where you can check out its grand Baroque architecture, or head to nearby Baden-Baden spa town instead. By evening, there's a private classical concert with sparkling wine at the Palace of Rastatt.

This morning you'll cruise through the Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage site with dramatic landscapes, terraced vineyards, and 40 hilltop castles from the last 1,000 years. A local wine expert gives an on-board lecture about viticulture and leads a regional wine sampling. Later you dock in Koblenz, 'The Wine City,' where you can explore the old town and Wine Museum, visit medieval Limburg with its half-timbered buildings, or take an excursion to Cochem and the Moselle Valley.

Cologne
You arrive early in Cologne, a 2,000-year-old city where the iconic twin spires of the cathedral dominate the skyline. The cathedral is one of Germany's largest and among the few WWII bombing survivors. After a guided walking tour of the Old Town, you'll have free time to explore on your own. Later, you'll depart for Amsterdam, then have the afternoon to relax on the Sun Deck, try the Salt Therapy Lounge, or book a massage.

Amsterdam welcomes you early in the morning, often called the 'Venice of the North' with 16th-century canals, tall narrow houses, and galleries with great art. You can choose between a one-hour canal cruise past Golden Age mansions and Anne Frank's house, a guided walking tour about Dutch culture and tasting herring, an immersive art experience at Fabrique des Lumières with 17-metre-high digital projections, or an e-bike cycling tour through countryside and quaint villages.
