Overall, the trip was good, but there were some pros and cons. Norway (minus Oslo) and Stockholm were my favorites....
Overall, the trip was good, but there were some pros and cons. Norway (minus Oslo) and Stockholm were my favorites. Cons: -The hotels in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and a few of the others were too far from the main attractions, it took an hour to walk to the hotel from the attractions. -There was not enough time in certain places to get food AND see the sights. There were only a couple designated food stops to actual restaurants to eat and the rest were quick food stops at grocery and convenience stores. There should be more time for food built into the itinerary. Also, with arrival so late in some places, not everyone wants to eat that late for dinner. -When we left Copenhagen to head to Odense, we were about an hour away when we had to turn around for another bus that had broke down and the passengers where going to the same place. This cut our time in Odense from 2 hrs to about 45 mins. This was not ok to do especially when it cuts into time we were supposed to have in a location! There were attractions I was really looking forward to. -Waiting for more than 5-10 minutes for people who are not on time or wander away is inconsiderate to everyone else's time. I have been on other tours where they do not wait and if you are not there on time, they will leave. Pros: -Raymundo (Ray) was a really good tour guide, only issue was the swearing. We had 3 different tour guides and none of them gave their number in case of emergency or issues. I have had others do that. -Really enjoyed the amount of time we had in Bergen and wish we had that in some other cities. It was enough time to enjoy the sites and get actual food. -Liked the morning tours and wish we had a few more in other cities. (Oslo was the least favorite and we didn't even get shown the location of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.) -The bathroom breaks every 2 hrs was a VERY good thing! Only issue was we weren't allowed to use the bathroom on the bus and that would have been nice for some of the 3 hr rides.Show more

I used Europamundo for the first time below are my comments 1) Airport transfer - smooth, driver was waiting, friendly, vehicle was clean. 2) All Hotels were comfortable, rooms clean and buffet breakfast excellent. 3) All local guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. 4) Bus to Florence and Venice was comfortable, except the toilet wasn't working. 5) Special mention for Lucas who was fantastic throughout. He is a credit to the company. 6) Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely use Europamundo again.Show more
