Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid to Córdoba
Take a high-speed train from Madrid at around 11:00 a.m., arriving in Córdoba in just under two hours. Once there, you'll have some time to grab lunch before meeting up with a local guide to explore the Mosque-Cathedral. After that, walk through the Jewish Quarter, and depending on the time of year (June 21 to September 20), you'll either see Medina Azahara at night or do a panoramic tour that includes the courtyard.

- Day 2
Córdoba to Granada
Start with breakfast and then drive through olive groves heading to Baena, where you'll tour the Núñez de Prado Olive Oil Mill and try some pan con aceite. The route continues to Granada for a guided tour of the Alhambra with lunch included. After that, you'll have the afternoon to either check out the cathedral or wander through the Albacín neighborhood if you prefer views of the Alhambra from different angles.

- Day 3
Granada to Málaga
Cross over the Sierra Nevada mountains and head toward the Mediterranean coast through the Costa Tropical region. Stop in Nerja to see the impressive cliffs, then continue to Frigiliana with its whitewashed houses and winding streets. Later, you'll reach Málaga where you have free time to walk around the city center, visit museums, check out Picasso's birthplace, or spend time at the beach depending on the weather.

- Day 4
Málaga to Jerez de la Frontera
Travel through the White Villages and Andalusian mountains, starting with a stop at Puerto Banús in Marbella to look at luxury yachts and boutiques. Then head to Setenil de las Bodegas, known for its houses built right into rock cliffs. Arrive in Ronda, which sits above the Tajo Gorge, for an included lunch and a visit to the historic bullring (one of Spain's oldest). The day ends in Jerez de la Frontera where you can explore the historic center and try some tapas.

- Day 5
Jerez de la Frontera to Seville
Begin at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art to see the Carriage Museum and watch Andalusian horses in training. Take photos outside the Moorish Alcázar, then go to El Puerto de Santa María to visit Osborne Wineries with a tasting. Afterward, take a scenic boat ride (about 30 minutes) to Cádiz to see the cathedral and old town. The day wraps up with travel toward Seville.

- Day 6
Seville
After breakfast, head to Itálica to explore this ancient Roman city (birthplace of emperors Trajan and Hadrian) and see its amphitheater, baths, and mosaics. Drive to Palos de la Frontera to visit the Monastery of La Rábida and the Wharf of the Caravels with replicas of Columbus's ships. Take free time for lunch in Huelva. In the afternoon, travel along the Atlantic coast near Doñana National Park, stopping in El Rocío to see the sanctuary and views of the park before returning to Seville.

- Day 7
Seville
Spend time on a city tour of Seville that covers the cathedral and its famous Giralda tower, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, and the neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana. After that, take a relaxing boat ride on the Guadalquivir River with panoramic views. Later in the evening, you have the option to catch a flamenco performance at a tablao if that interests you.

- Day 8
Seville to Lisbon
Leave Seville traveling through rolling hills and pasturelands into Extremadura. In Mérida, visit the Archaeological Ensemble (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its Roman Theater and Amphitheater. You'll have free time for lunch and can explore the pedestrian historic center. Continue into Portugal, stopping in Évora (another World Heritage Site) to see whitewashed streets, Renaissance palaces, and the cathedral. Arrive in Lisbon by evening.

Take a sightseeing tour of Lisbon's seven hills, wandering through narrow alleys, seeing iconic Portuguese tiles, and enjoying the Atlantic light. Head to Belem, where 15th-century Portuguese explorers departed on their ocean voyages. You'll have free afternoon time to walk to Bairro Alto and its viewpoint. If interested, you can take optional trips to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. Return to the hotel in the evening from Restauradores Square.

- Day 10
Lisbon to Madrid
Depart Portugal early and drive through the Alentejo region with a coffee stop in Estremoz, a charming medieval town with cobblestone streets. Cross into Spain and reach Cáceres for lunch and time to explore its historic center (one of the best-preserved medieval and Renaissance districts around). Then continue to Madrid, arriving in the evening.
