Itinerary
- Day 1
Melbourne to Warrnambool
You'll get picked up from the Immigration Museum early in the morning and head down the Great Ocean Road, one of Australia's most scenic coastal drives. Along the way, keep an eye out for wild koalas in the eucalyptus trees and other native wildlife. Stop in Apollo Bay around lunchtime to grab a bite and walk around this quiet seaside village. After lunch, you'll join a guided walk through the rainforest in Great Otway National Park, where your guide shows you the local flora and fauna. Later in the afternoon, you'll see the Twelve Apostles, those dramatic rock formations rising from the ocean, and check out the historic Loch Ard Gorge. You arrive in Warrnambool by evening to settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Grampians National Park - Halls Gap
Start the day at Tower Hill Conservation Wildlife Reserve, an extinct volcano with significant Aboriginal heritage. You'll spot native emus and kangaroos roaming around in their natural setting. From there, you head north toward the Grampians National Park. Once you arrive, you'll hike up to the Pinnacle lookout, where the views stretch across the entire national park and the ranges beyond. The scenery is really something from up there. Back down from the hike, you'll have a classic Australian BBQ for dinner before heading to Halls Gap, where you'll spend the night.

- Day 3
Grampians National Park - Melbourne
After breakfast, you'll walk to the base of Mackenzie Falls and see the water dropping into the gorge below. That's one of the more striking spots in the Grampians. You'll continue exploring the park by heading to Boroka and Reeds lookouts, each offering different views across the rugged ranges and valleys. There's time to take in the landscape and maybe grab photos from these vantage points. In the afternoon, you'll start heading back toward Melbourne, and you should arrive at the Immigration Museum around 5:30 PM for your dropoff.
