This was a wonderful tour and I am sorry I didn't go for a longer tour! You need more than 4 days to fully appreciate the Galapagos and all it has to offer! Here are our only concerns.... We arrived a day early and had asked for suggestions of things to do. We were provided a list and told that an English speaking guide would take us. The guide was very nice and polite, however he spoke very little English and that made communicating a bit difficult with my limited Spanish. We had a lovely time but when you are in a foreign country the ability to communicate with you guide is essential. Our other issue had to do with the Grand Queen Beatriz. The yacht was lovely, the food amazing, the crew better than I could have hoped for and our Guide, Fernando, was very knowledgeable and flexible the yacht was LOUD! We were unable to hold a conversation inside or out (without shouting) due to the motor when we were traveling from place to place. Unfortunately there were times during meals and when we were all up and awake when the yacht had to move. At night, it would wake you from a dead sleep and you would stay awake. I believe the engine needs some work. But in spite of the loud engine, there is little that can spoil the beauty of the Galapagos! I have never seen so many species of fish and wildlife! I applaud the Ecuadorian government for realizing what a special place they have and protecting it for future generations.Show more

The tour was exactly as described in the itinerary so there weren't any unexpected surprises. Living on a boat was a new experience for us, so I'd recommend sea-sickness meds if you think you're prone to this. The boat itself was relatively stable, but the water can be unpredictable. The cabins were spacious and cleaned regularly. Each day's itinerary was clearly communicated to us the day before and any of our questions were confidently answered. We felt safe the entire trip and the staff on the boat were very helpful and accommodating. Stephanie makes delicious cocktails! The snacks after each hike or snorkel trip were a pleasant surprise. Roberto was a fantastic guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the islands and answered all questions we had. When my wife fell ill, he was accommodating and allowed us to modify our itinerary on the last day. The food on the boat was very good with new options every day. Some meals were served and some were buffet style. My wife is a vegetarian and they were able to accommodate her. I only took 1 star off Transportation as the person who was supposed to meet us at the airport when we landed arrived 20 mins late. Otherwise all transport was on schedule and we felt safe the entire time. Would definitely use Peregrine again!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Premium. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 56 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
