Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Amsterdam
You'll arrive at Amsterdam airport and get picked up based on your flight time. After dropping your bags at the hotel, head out on a canal cruise to see the city from the water. The 17th-century buildings lining the canals mix with the modern skyline, and it's a solid way to get oriented. You'll need to make your own way to the boat's meeting point and board from there.

- Day 2
Amsterdam Walking Tour & Zaanse Schans Windmill Village
Start with a guided walking tour through Amsterdam, hitting Dam Square and checking out the famous leaning buildings, the smallest house, and various canals and bridges throughout the city. Later, take the train to Zaanse Schans Windmill Village and explore on your own. The old wooden homes and working windmills are best seen by walking around, and it's just a short 10-15 minute walk from the train station to get started.

- Day 4
Amsterdam to Brussels
A bus transfers you to Brussels, and once you check in at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours. Walk around town, get a feel for the place, and find a local restaurant for dinner. It's a good chance to explore at your own pace and settle in.

Brugge Day Trip
Take the train to Brugge and spend your time exploring this medieval town however you like. Wander through the canals, stroll down the historic cobblestone streets, and check out the local squares. Pop into cafes for authentic food, visit the attractive buildings scattered throughout, and soak in the medieval atmosphere. You can get around on foot or rent a bicycle if you want to cover more ground.

Brussels to Frankfurt
Depart for Frankfurt by train sometime between 8-11 AM, which takes about 3 hours. When you arrive, check into your hotel and then head out on a boat tour along the River Main. The boat runs at least 6 times daily, and each tour lasts around an hour, giving you nice views of Frankfurt's character from the water.

Idstein Day Trip
Travel by train to the small town of Idstein in the Taunus region and explore at your own pace. You can visit the 14th-century Idstein Castle to see its Renaissance architecture and climb the panoramic tower, wander through the historic town center, head to Nassau Nature Park, or stop by a local winery for a wine tasting and learn about the region's wine traditions.

Heidelberg Day Trip
Take the train to Heidelberg for the day and explore on your own. Visit the famous castle ruins sitting above the town, which has Gothic and Renaissance elements and a terrace with good views. Check out one of the world's largest wine barrels, then wander the medieval town center to find the Old Bridge, Karlstor, and the Church of the Holy Spirit. Walk past the half-timbered houses, Germany's oldest university, and if you want, take the walk up Philosophers' Way or try some regional wine along the way.

Departure
Your tour ends today. A private taxi picks you up from your hotel and takes you to Frankfurt airport. The pickup happens 3 hours before your flight departs, so you have plenty of time to get there.
