Itinerary
- Day 1
La Palma
An ASI Reisen representative will meet you at La Palma airport and drive you to your hotel. Once you arrive, you'll have time to settle in and get comfortable for the week ahead.
- Day 2
Barlovento
Head into the laurel forest of Barlovento for a hike. You can choose between the medium route at 8.9 km (3 hours) or push yourself with the longer option covering 18.6 km (7 hours) that takes you up to Mirador Las Barandas for views across the landscape.

Landmarks Mirador Las Barandas - Day 3
Barlovento
A bus will take you to either Franceses or Roque Faro, then you'll hike along La Palma's wild north coast. The medium route covers 10.8 km in about 4 hours and 45 minutes, passing through gorges and old villages. If you want the longer hike, it's 17.3 km (7 hours) through dense laurel forests.

- Day 4
Los Llanos
You'll hike the west coast toward Pirate's Cove, a remote bay tucked into caves below tall cliffs. The medium hike is 8.9 km (4.5 hours) ending at El Jesus, or continue on the demanding route for 14.5 km (7 hours) to Mirador El Time overlooking the Aridane Valley. Your bags get transferred ahead to Los Llanos.

Los Llanos
Take a cab to the trailhead and hike through mountain terrain toward Cumbrecita for crater views of the caldera. Alternatively, the more difficult route climbs Pico Bejenado through pine forests, giving you panoramic views of Caldera de Taburiente.

Los Llanos
A cab takes you to Los Brecitos, where you'll hike about 13 km (4 hours and 40 minutes) through Caldera de Taburiente National Park. Along the way, you can detour to see the ancient Pinos Gordos pine trees or visit Cascada de Colores waterfall before heading back to the hotel by cab.

Santa Cruz
Today features La Palma's volcano route. Choose the small volcano route at 11.4 km (4 hours and 45 minutes) past the 1971 Tenerguia volcano to the salt flats, or take on the great volcano route covering 17.5 km (7 hours) across the island ridge with views of multiple volcanoes. Your luggage transfers to Santa Cruz, and you'll finish by taking a public bus to your hotel.

Your week of hiking on La Palma ends today. You'll head home, and if you'd like, you can book an optional airport transfer for the trip to the airport.
