Itinerary
- Day 1
Alberobello
You'll arrive in Alberobello, stepping into a UNESCO World Heritage Site that's basically the heart of trulli country. The whole old town consists of these distinctive cone-shaped stone houses that immediately grab your attention. Walking around, you get why this place has such a unique character - those whitewashed trulli with their peaked roofs are everywhere, creating this landscape you don't see anywhere else.

- Day 2
Alberobello to Locorotondo
Starting from Alberobello, you'll walk toward the village of Coreggia and then follow the Apulian aqueduct path, which takes you through a natural oasis with ancient oak forest. The route winds through country roads lined with trulli, giving you time to really take in the landscape. By afternoon, you'll reach Locorotondo, a circular hilltop town sitting up high with those distinctive limestone-roofed houses that make it stand out from the valley floor.

- Day 3
Locorotondo to Cisternino
From Locorotondo, you'll hike through the Itria Valley on small country roads and paths. Dry stone walls line the way, and trulli dot the landscape as you move through. Around midday, you'll walk along the Apulian Aqueduct cycle path surrounded by nature, which gives your legs a bit of a break. Later, you'll arrive in Cisternino, a charming village known for its narrow alleyways and traditional rural architecture built right into the hillside.

Landmarks Itria Valley Cisternino - Day 4
Cisternino to Ostuni
You'll traverse the Valle d'Itria's typical landscape, walking ancient sheep paths through woodlands with trulli and dry stone-walled fields. During the walk, you'll pass through a beautiful olive grove and the Archaeological Park of Santa Maria di Agnano. By late afternoon, Ostuni appears before you, the 'white city' perched on the coastal plain with its whitewashed buildings creating quite a sight from a distance.

Ostuni to Carovigno
This day takes you through an ancient olive grove plain where some of Apulia's oldest olive trees are located, and some are over 2,000 years old. These living monuments accompany you throughout the day as you make your way forward. Walking through this landscape, you get a real sense of time and continuity - these trees have seen centuries pass. By evening, you'll reach Carovigno.

Landmarks Carovigno - Day 6
Carovigno to Serranova
You'll hike along paths surrounded by eucalyptus trees and Mediterranean scrub, with cooling breezes coming in from the nearby Adriatic Sea. The route takes you through plains with old olive trees and prickly pears. Later, you'll arrive in Serranova, a small rural village where stopping at Tonino's typical grocery store is worth your time - it's a real local experience, not a tourist spot.

Landmarks Serranova - Day 7
Serranova to Brindisi
After reaching Torre Guaceto nature reserve via a dirt road through olive trees and prickly pears, you'll head south along the Adriatic coast for about 10 km. The route follows roads that trace the ancient Via Traiana and Via Francigena paths. Along the way, you'll pass the medieval church of Santa Maria del Casale. By evening, you'll arrive in Brindisi, an ancient port city that still has the Roman column marking the end of the Via Appia standing there after all these centuries.

Brindisi
This morning is breakfast and then tour services wrap up. You'll say goodbye to Puglia having walked through one of Italy's most distinctive regions, from trulli-filled valleys to ancient coastal routes and that remarkable white city perched on the plains.
