Baltra to Puerto Ayora
Your guide meets you at Baltra Airport and drives you across the Itabaca Channel through Santa Cruz highlands to reach Puerto Ayora. You'll stop at a highland farm where giant tortoises roam in their natural setting, then continue to the twin craters to watch for different bird species. After grabbing lunch, you head to a local family-owned coffee plantation where you walk the fields, learn how they grow and roast coffee using traditional methods, and taste fresh Galápagos coffee.

- Day 2
Puerto Ayora
This morning you take a 45-60 minute walk through dry forest to reach Tortuga Bay, one of the archipelago's best beaches. You'll relax on white sand, watch marine iguanas sunbathing, or swim in the calm bay waters. Later in the afternoon, an experienced chef leads you through a hands-on ceviche cooking class, and then you get to eat the fresh Ecuadorian dish you just made.

Sailing Excursion to Outer Islands
You board a classic sailboat with up to 16 passengers for a 1.5-2.5 hour voyage to an outer island like Bartolomé, Seymour Norte, Plazas Sur, or Santa Fé, depending on park permits and your preferences. Each island has unique landscapes and wildlife found nowhere else, so you'll likely see Santa Fé iguanas, sea lions, frigate birds, and blue-footed boobies. A warm meal gets served on board, and then you'll have time to snorkel at a nearby bay or beach before returning to Puerto Ayora around 4-5 pm.

You have a free day to explore Santa Cruz Island on your own schedule. Walk through Puerto Ayora's harbor area with its cozy cafés, artisan shops, and colorful fish market. Nearby beaches like Playa de los Alemanes and Las Grietas are great for swimming in clear water. If you want, you can visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about giant tortoise conservation or check out the Galápagos craft beer brewery. As evening comes, you join a farewell dinner inside a natural lava tunnel turned into a dining space, eating a gourmet meal with local flavors and ingredients.

Puerto Ayora to Baltra
After breakfast, your driver takes you back across the highlands and the Itabaca Channel to Baltra Island for your flight to mainland Ecuador. You leave with incredible wildlife memories, the flavors you've tasted, stories you've heard, and the warmth of the Galápagos Islands with you.
