Wayanad
This day focuses on Wayanad's natural landscape and tribal culture. You'll hike to Edakkal Caves to see rock carvings that date back over 6,000 years, then visit a local tribal village to learn about their traditions and crafts. Alternatively, join a guided nature walk through the forest trails if that interests you more.

Wayanad to Alleppey
Check out from your lodge and drive to Kozhikode to board a scenic train heading to Kerala's backwater region. During the journey you'll watch temples, rice fields, and village life pass by. When you arrive, transfer to a traditional wooden boat that takes you to your village homestay surrounded by canals and rice paddies.

Alleppey
You'll get a real taste of backwater living here. Join locals during rice harvest, try operating the traditional Chinese fishing nets, or take a cooking class to learn Kerala's culinary techniques. Periyar
