    Alice

    Asked on September 10th, 2025

Does Grand Angle do any Dolomites hiking tours in September (or beginning of October) of 2026?

    Tour Details
    • Grand AngleOperatorWritten September 2025

We organise hiking tours in the Dolomites only until mid-September. After this period, several factors make it more complicated to hike safely and comfortably: Public transport: Buses generally stop operating after mid-September. Weather: Days are shorter, temperatures drop quickly at altitude, and early snowfalls are common. Lifts: Cable cars and chairlifts usually stop running mid-September, meaning longer ascents/descents on foot. Local services: Many restaurants and hotels also close during this period.
