Itinerary
- Day 1
Hobart
You'll arrive in Hobart and spend the afternoon getting to know Tasmania's capital. Start by heading up Mt. Nelson for views across the city and down to the water. From there, walk through Battery Point to see the Georgian cottages, then check out Salamanca Place with its historic sandstone buildings. Stop by Constitution Dock where the famous Sydney to Hobart yachts finish their race. Before dinner, you'll have time to stroll through the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. End the evening with dinner alongside your Travel Director.

- Day 2
Strahan
Today takes you into western Tasmania's wilderness. You'll head to Mount Field National Park, part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, and walk among tall eucalypts to reach Russell Falls on an easy 1.4 km unsealed trail that takes about 25 minutes return. After that, you'll drive toward Lake St. Clair, which is Australia's deepest freshwater lake. By late afternoon, you'll arrive in Strahan, the gateway to the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, where you'll settle in for the night.

Gordon River Cruise
You'll cruise the Gordon River through the UNESCO World Heritage listed Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. The tour stops at Sarah Island so you can explore the penal colony history and see a 2,000-year-old Huon pine at Heritage Landing. As you continue, you'll navigate past Hells Gates, the tricky harbour entrance where the river meets the sea. Later, you'll head north toward Cradle Mountain and spend the evening by the fire.

Cradle Mountain
You're exploring Cradle Mountain National Park today. You can climb to the 1,545-metre Cradle Mountain summit and discover the wilderness around Dove Lake. During the day, you'll do a special experience at Devils @ Cradle Wildlife Sanctuary with a Day Keeper tour, learning about the facility and how it supports Tasmanian Devil conservation. After that, you'll head toward the scenic north-west coast for your overnight stay.

Penguin - Sheffield - Ashgrove Farm
Start the day at Table Cape, a 180-metre-high lookout where you can see up to 175 kilometres along the coast on clear days. You'll drive through Penguin, a charming town known for its many penguin sculptures scattered around. Next, check out Sheffield, known as the Town of Murals because of its over 100 large paintings depicting local history. Later, stop at Ashgrove Tasmanian Farm, famous for award-winning cheeses, and grab some locally made ice cream.

Cataract Gorge
Launceston is where you can leave urban life behind in minutes and find yourself surrounded by nature. You'll visit Cataract Gorge, a dramatic chasm carved by ancient rivers that mixes bushland with neat Victorian gardens. Take the scenic chairlift for a different view of the gorge, or explore one of the river cruises if you prefer being on the water instead. Either way, you'll see why this natural spot feels so different from the city centre.

Landmarks Cataract Gorge - Day 7
Legerwood - Bicheno
You'll visit Bridestowe Lavender Farm, a massive lavender operation that perfumes the Tasmanian countryside. If you're visiting late Spring to early Summer when the flowers bloom, you can see the fields in full colour and try lavender-infused ice cream, teas, and jams. After that, head to the Legerwood Carved Memorial Trees, which are sculpted into World War One soldiers. In the evening, drive to Bicheno and watch little penguins waddle to shore from the water after dark.
