  Overall a good tour with nice stops, but our car could have used USB plugs for our phones and there were no rear vents which would have been good when feeling car sick on those mountain roads. Our problem and lower rating is due to our guide. Day 1 at the end of the day the guide said he was taking us to the hotel and I asked, But what about the BlueEye? His response was, You must be kidding me! He was upset that I mentioned going to a place that was actually on our itinerary that he forgot about! He took us there so late that we missed the last train so my 83 year old mother was unable to see it! My son and I went as fast as we could over 1 mile of hilly path to get there at dusk, you can imagine the colours just weren't there as there was no light to illuminate it. 1 mile back, my mother was waiting for 45 min alone in the dark and chill and completely missed it due to our guide's negligence. Day 2- second castle of the day our guide chose to save 2 euro on parking and had us climb the steep driveway which wasted time and was risky, considering he saw that my mother fell on the driveway/steps of the previous castle. Did he not care for her safety? Did he not want to manage our time wisely? we wasted so much time climing a driveway when he could have dropped us off at the top. Additionally I realized later that night that our guide completely missed taking us to Zekate House Museum that was on our itinerary! Day 3- i asked why we missed Zekate House? and guide's response was, So you want me to drive back there? He never explained why we missed it, he never apologized, he said that he gave us a choice. A choice of what? I asked the rest of our party and no one heard him offer a choice of any kind. We would have Loved to see a museum! (As while we were in Tirane All museums were closed due to protestors) Overall the vibe that the guide gave off was off-putting, he never offered to open a car door, offer to help with luggage only after we already had it halfway there, didn't say thank you when we bought him coffee, when he spoke about the history it was with zero enthusiasm (as if he was mumbling to himself)...he has snarky/sarcastic remarks when he could have been polite. The historic places that we actually did see were wonderful, the hotels were nice, the car was ok, the guide definitely could have been better.Show more
