- Day 1
Madrid - Salamanca - Porto
You'll leave Madrid at 8:00 a.m. heading toward Salamanca, a historic university city where the afternoon is yours to explore. The old town is worth wandering through, and the Baroque Plaza Mayor is hard to miss with its impressive architecture and surrounding arcades. From there you'll continue on to Porto, Portugal, arriving later in the evening.

Porto
Porto is a UNESCO World Heritage city with plenty to see along the riverside. You'll visit the Cathedral, Palacio da Bolsa, and the ornate Church of Saint Clara, then try a port wine tasting at a local cellar.

Porto - Coimbra - Fátima - Lisbon
This morning you travel to Coimbra, one of Europe's oldest university cities and where fado music was born. You'll have free time to check out the university and old town areas. After that, you head to Fátima, one of the world's most important pilgrimage centers. You can visit the Basilica and Sanctuary there before traveling on to Lisbon for the night. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional fado performance in the evening.

Lisbon
Starting with a panoramic tour of Lisbon, you'll see Park Viewpoint, Edward VII Square, Rossio Square, and Liberdade Avenue. Then you move through the Madragoa district, where fado actually originated, before heading to Belem to visit the famous Belem Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, and Jerónimos Monastery. The afternoon is free, so you can either relax or take an optional excursion to nearby Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril if you want to see more.

Seville
You'll explore Seville's main attractions starting with Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España, then check out the Cathedral with its iconic Giralda bell tower. Walking through the old Jewish quarter Santa Cruz means wandering past cobbled streets and flower-filled courtyards. Several options are available if you want to do more: a river cruise on the Guadalquivir, a visit to the historic Maestranza bullring, or an evening flamenco show.

The rest of the day is open, giving you time to experience how the city blends its Moorish and Spanish heritage throughout the old streets and neighborhoods.

Costa del Sol - Granada
You'll head inland to Granada where the main attraction is the Alhambra and its lush Generalife gardens, the summer palace of Moorish royalty. If you're interested in flamenco, there's an optional evening visit available to the caves of Sacromonte where the dancing happens.

Barcelona
